Root Mushroom Farm-Blue Oyster Grain Spawn(NOT A GROW KIT)

I was gonna order from north spore but saw these guys. I was so happy with the way the first bag looked I ordered a second one. Now I just inoculated my garden yesterday so I cannot say how well that they will produce but that's not really on the company anyway. If this is your first time at trying your hand at this i highly recommend that you order a actual kit. THIS IS NOT A GROW KIT. This is for people who have been growing a min and know how to either do their own grow kits or for people like me trying to grow them in a very large area

I planted these wine cap mushrooms late summer August 2024 in northern Florida in a strawberry bed. They seem to be doing just fine in febuary early spring of 2025. I mixed the substrate with hard wood pellets every body seems happy! I am very pleased with the quality of this variety of mycelium from this seller, I definitely would purchase again.

I bought the 5 pounds spawn it did not grow any mushroom 😱😱😡😡💩💩

I wasn't really ready for there to be as much as I got. Usually when buying stuff online you don't know what you are going to get. I filled 6 gallon bucket with this and straw and had to do a 30 gallon planter outside. All of them produced. I will buy again. I'll be more prepared next time.

Bought other brands before and had more mycelium— this said it may settle from shipping but honestly it’s been weeks and I still don’t see it

These mushrooms were a bit slow in the beginning. But I think I was probably just being impatient as with most things. Because now they're all over my entire garden! I love it!

The grain was tightly packed on arrival and after two days now it's loosened in the still closed bag the mycelium are already white and thriving for my Edibles Guild Class in two days when 20 or so adults with build a blue oyster kit with wetted organic Blue Mountain Hay layered with the mushroom spawn in small plastic laundry baskets that have lots of wide openings for the mushrooms to sprout out. Ive seen a friend do it and now as Leader of the Marin Master Gardener's Edibles Guild my group are all aiming to have fun growing our own!!
