Easy To Apply & Did The Job
Our front porch (free standing, not a fully enclosed one) had begun to develop some rather horid looking rot on its front supports. As it is painted white it look horrible and as it was the first thing that people would see when walking up our path we needed to do something about it and didn't have several thousand £'s to build a completely new one.I purchased this and it arrived promptly. To my surprise a few days later I came home and my girlfriend (not one who usually applys herself to any DIY tasks) had actually taken it upon herself to use it to fill the gaps in the wood and had no problem doing so. I helped a little bit with the sanding and shaping of it once it had properly set (she had attempted to do this whilst it was still wet and made a bit of a hash of it).Once it was dry she let lose with the white paint and the job was done. After a 30 minute blast of the power washer from myself to clean the paint splattered paving stones beneath where she had worked the porch and path were truly worthy of guests again.A great product that even the most DIY averse can use!!!

use a separate tool for taking from each tin when mixing
Probably the best wood filler I have ever used. Dries quickly and without shrinking even in deep holes, giving a good flush finish with little sanding needed. Only drawback is that it is expensive and once opened has a comparatively short shelf life, hence 4 stars for which is otherwise,in my opinion, a 5 star product.

Great buy
Had some wood flooring took up to replace the heating system throughout the whole house used this in one of the rooms and it is doing the job amazingly, bought it a couple of months ago but it had held up well worth no signs of wear and tear. Great value for money, good sized pot had plenty inside, the instructions were easy to follow. The colour match to the flooring I have was not perfect but made the room look 1000 times better, will buy again and fast delivery with no issues

Good quality/value filler
This seems to be a decent two part filler - mixes easily and is workable for about the right length of time before setting - you can only use fairly small quantities at a time if filling fiddly bits of a moulded exterior door as I was. Sands and finishes well. Time will tell if it is sufficiently flexible in place, but so far is good value for a 750g tub.Don't waste your time with one part fillers for exterior use - they will just shrink and fall out over time, and this is probably as good as any 2 part type.

Under 1 hour? More like next day
Ultra strong and Quick drying is what it says on the tub. I was using it to try to patch big holes in wood which had been treated for wet rot the day before. My experience was that it does go off quite quickly as described in the instructions, so follow their advice and only mix small batches at a time. I was always very careful to get as close to 1-to-1 mix as I could, but an hour or two later (dry sunny day) it was definitely not ultra strong. After a day or two it seems to have hardened much better, but Im marking it down because the marketing for this implies you can use it and be painting over it the same day, which probably is not a good idea to attempt. The following is taken from Polycell’s own website: ‘Polycell Polyfilla for Wood Large Repairs is a tough, exterior and interior woodfiller for major wood repairs that can be painted, stained or varnished in under 1 hour.’If you try to sand this down an hour or two after applying it big chunks of it are very likely to just fall off. But, leave it a day or so and it does live up to the claims
