Great Book by Homer. A classic book , to be read.

Not a bad translation, but since I was using it for my course I had difficulty with the fact that it there were no line numbers down the side of the page. Just meant a bit more work when I was trying to use quotes in my dissertation, but since they were labelled at the top it could have been much worse.

Cheap as chips, get what ya pay for! Not awful though. Content is 5* being what it is, mind.

Masterpiece

On the plus side this book contains all the cantos in verse form along with the introductory stanzas to each book and also contains annotations but there is no paraphrase or descriptions alongside the chapters.

ILIADの英訳は古語ではとても読みにくいが、現代語の英訳なので楽しめる。

I respect Homer but all the ancient greek literatures seemed so predictable. I only bought this book for my history class.
