I bought this battery for my daughter’s laptop. She was only able to use it if only she had it plugged up to an outlet. Since purchasing the new battery, she can take and use her laptop anywhere and only have to plug it up to recharge the battery. The battery was a great price, the ease of changing out the old for the new one was easy, the charging time was very good, and the battery life once charged was exceptional.

I ordered this battery because my HP laptop (Model No. 14-df0023cl) ran out of battery in minutes after a full charge. Installation took about 15 minutes and the tools the battery comes with are helpful. I watched a couple videos on how to do it until I saw a laptop that looked like mine.The instructions for the battery warn not to charge the battery until it reaches below 2%. But they also warn you not to go to 0% or you will ruin the battery. Out of the box, the battery was around 50% so I left it on waiting for it to go to 2% as instructed. My laptop gave me a low power warning at 20% and then it went into sleep mode due to low battery at 18%. I charged it up and over a few days got it back down to 13% before it went to sleep from lack of battery. I don't think it will go to 2%. Anyway, I can work for several hours on the new battery, so I have no complaints. I did 4 stars because the battery won't go from 0 to 100% charge. I am fine plugging it in at about 20%, but I feel that a 5-star battery would work until 1% charge before shutting down.

Battery worked well in the laptop with no issues...cheap fix if you can take your laptop apart very carefully.

Working great so far after a month. Surprisingly easy to install, just watch install instructions on YouTube. Probably saved me a couple hundred dollars by doing it myself.

So at first I thought this battery was bad as I charged it like the instructions said and worked a couple of times.. but then it seemed like it wouldn't charge backup. So then Initially I gave a bad review.. but it was my bad as I didn't know my laptop won't charge the battery when it's off! I realized the other day that when I was was using my laptop that the battery was charging back up and it charged up to 100%! Learn something new everyday 😂so it's all good!

I needed a new battery for my 5-year-old HP laptop. This one fits perfectly. Hardest part about replacing the old one was getting the case open. This battery comes with all the tools you need to do the job. The price is pretty good as well.
