How long will they keep after purchase

I purchased mine for a party in the summer (about 2 weeks before) kept them sealed and they were perfect. I ordered too many and had one box open and another still sealed and even the ones in the open box were fine last week when we had them. If they are kept in a sealed container away from moisture they should be fine for months.

Better with a drier filling such a smoked salmon or pate. You could use your chicken supreme filling if you wanted but don't fill the canape more than one hour ahead. Not a bad idea to try filling one in advance to see how long before the pastry goes soggy.
