i was believing they would be the same color as tahitian pearls which is why I bought then but recieved black small pearls which looked more like costume jewelry

The "pearls" are black plastic. They look ok but I wanted the ones pictured to match a bracelet I already had. The quality seems ok but the chain is cheap looking. For the price I'll use a different chain and wear them happily or give to my niece. Can't go wrong for under $2.

I ordered three sets to give as Christmas gifts, but they look cheap; hence could not give it. Not at all worth it!

Showed up black plastic not pearl at all or green tint

The reflections on the necklace make it look like there is a hint of green on this bead but there is not from what I can tell, mine is very black. I was hoping it would be a dark green or shinier possibly.
