I had been having issues with neck and back pain after developing a frozen shoulder so we invested in a new mattress for resolve. The pains continued after this change. After doing some research I came across this FOMI water pillow which has completely reversed my issues! I am so glad I made this purchase. I have not slept this well in years!!! I have slept on it for exactly one week and my pains have disappeared. I still have some concerns with the frozen shoulder (as a pillow will not resolve that). I am in love with my pillow and can't wait to get in bed at night so I can look forward to another wonderful night of sleep.Others have mentioned something about a cold feeling. I have not had this experience. Also some have referred to the "little cup" to use for filling the pillow with water. That tool is provided to open and close the valve and create a funnel for the water reservoir. If the tool is not used for this purpose you will find the pillow leaking water. If anyone remembers water beds from years ago, this pillow is definitely comparable. I love that it supports my head but does not suck me in or make me sleep on top of the pillow. It truly provides the proper amount of support. I started with the minimal amount of water the first night and then adjusted to the medium level and it was perfect for me. The fact that this pillow is adjustable in comfort makes it worth the investment. I hope you will get your own FOMI and try it for a week. Amazon does allow for returns but you will definitely want to keep this!!!

I will admit, I was skeptical. As I poured cup after cup of water into this pillow increasing its weight to that of a small dog, I thought I had made a mistake. I did not. That first night I slept through the night for the first time in 5 years. I thought maybe it was a fluke. It was not. I have consecutively slept through the night for 2 weeks. My chronic neck pain has gone way down. I am so happy. Get this pillow.PS. Do not over fill this bad boy. If you fill it to the brim, it will leak. Pour out at least some of it. If you’re used to having big pillows, this will initially feel flat. But it works so well.

This pillow is great for what it says, it got rid of my neck and shoulder pain nearly immediately and has the added benefit of being very cool which is great for warm nights or those who just prefer a cold pillow. I bought the pillow in fall 2022, and by the beginning of 2024 I noticed it started to leak a little around the fill area. It is not a problem with the fill site itself but I assume with the water bag. But for the $35 I paid to last a year and a half with no problems is well worth it to me.

UPDATE TO REVIEW: I have only had ther pillow not even 5 months and it's leaking like crazy. Since day 1 I haven't opened it back up. This amount of money spent for it to leak not even 5 months later, waste of money.I dont mind this pillow but as full as I have it, which is almost fully full which makes it too heavy but doesn't really make it puff up. But it's a good pillow. It would be nicer for it to be more puffy but how it's designed it won't be. But other than that it's a good water pillow.

This one is great for side sleepers as written by other reviewers here too. It's not too thick like other water pillows.I bought a Mediflow pillow here shortly ago, and it actually hurt my neck because it was too thick that it wasn't keeping my neck straight while I was sleeping on my sides. Long ago, I had a different version of the Mediflow and it wasn't as thick as the newer generations (or maybe the cushioning just slimmed down after several years). If you're a side sleeper, forget the Mediflow as it will curve your neck upwards too much, and it was making me pretty sore for days. This FOMI is perfect.

I purchased a Mediflow water pillow 10 years ago from my Chiropractors office to reduce neck pain. Fell in love with it and had it for 6 YEARS before it sprung a leak. I purchased this product as a replacement in June 2022 because of the price point. Well, as they say, you get what you pay for. This product lasted less than 1 year. I will now pay more up front and go back to a Mediflow pillow because in the long run, you are actually paying less for a more quality product. Spend the money and invest in quality!

Well I’ve been sleeping on this lovely pillow for about a week now and I must say that it is very good! I’m still thinking I might need to adjust it a little, but I don’t really want to. (Such a hassle to take the water out)It’s very comfortable...and not too hot or too cold. The polyester layer on top is truly soft and fluffy, and helps support your head and neck perfectly with the right amount of water. I was afraid it might leak, judging from some of the reviews, so I put a towel won’t. I really did tighten the cap extremely well and I don’t think it has wiggled open in the least. I had another name brand water pillow several years ago and since this one was a bit more reasonably priced I tried it out (so glad I did) and think it is just as good if not better than my old one. Also the customer service is divine!!! I’m sure they will stand behind their product should any problem arise.

I purchased this pillow as an alternative to standard down, and "down-like" pillows that go flat in what seems like weeks. I like a bit of elevation with my pillows so when I filled this one and it still looked really flat, I felt disappointment mounting. Although this pillow appears flat, it is very comfortable and provides an ample amount of support. In the beginning I actually put it on top of another, standard pillow but I have stopped doing this as it works just fine on its own. I get a restful sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.

I don’t often leave reviews but I’ve slept on this pillow for 2 nights and my neck pain/headache has gone! I tried the Groove pillow which helped but I found it too high/hard and Simba (with the memory foam chunks) which was comfortable but I still woke sore. I filled water up to 150 oz (instructions say 120 oz for hard) and it’s still soft. To be honest it doesn’t feel particularly supportive but I’ve woken without pain after 11 hours sleep so it must be! I put a waterproof mat and towel underneath but no leaks so far - will leave them in place for a few more days. I found it frustrating that other reviews mentioned trying loads of other pillows but didn’t say which ones so thought I would. I’ll update review if anything changes. Good luck :)

Too soft for neck pain, it also leaked all over my bed on day 2 of usage. Whole bed was wet. I also disliked the sound of water going through the water bag whenever I change head position.But customer service was good willing to send a new piece.

This is a great pillow. Being able to adjust the height/comfort level is wonderful. It really helps with my neck issues. The one criticism is that I wish it were bigger to fit a king-size bed.
