Eliminates the cigarette odor! It's cute, too. So easy to clean. I usually put a teaspoon of baking soda in it when I clean it out. The lid seals well when closed. The light is nice but I find that I don't really need it. My car has ambient light. The battery life on that light tho! I've had the ashtray several months and have washed the ENTIRE ashtray multiple times and that battery keeps on going! The bottom does NOT get hot, whereas every ashtray I've purchased before would get hot and there's always a concern that it could melt the upholstery. Not with this ashtray tho. It also retains the ashes really well! So I don't have ashes scattering everywhere. It seems to be well made. No cracks or scratches even after several months of use.

I smoke Black and Mild cigars. Not the best size for those. It'll probably work perfect for cigarettes.The purple color is great and not too bright. Just enough light at night.It's sturdy and fits perfectly in my cup holder. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I bought this because I frequently smoke at night out on my porch. I thought an ash can with a light would be beneficial at night because I don't like to turn on my porch light when I'm outside, because it draws bugs which draws spiders of which I'm terrified! The way the slot is angled for placing a lit cigarette on it is a terribly downward, inconvenient angle. Very smell proof, durable and easy to clean/empty. I love the value, and that it's well made. I also like the light it has which helps when I'm in the dark.
