This is a very sticky gel and if you apply too much it will run and drip. Apply liberally and you will have no problems. I needed this for beams I have running throughout my house as the liquid treatment just runs off. I’m some areas I have been left with white powdery marks but they do just wash off with a damp cloth and then I apply some oil. The company is absolutely fantastic also - customer service is extremely helpful and friendly and always willing to offer advice.

We have a woodworm problem under our kitchen floor but didn't want to use harsh chemicals to prevent further infestation. We chose this gel because it has less of an impact on the environment. It's still one that you need to be careful of where you put it thought, i.e. away from gardens or where animals feed. There is no odour, though still wear a mask when applying to protect from any irritation.

I bought this to treat some very old oak timbers in our house. The very experienced painter/decorator we are using loved it. Barely any odour, and very easy to apply. Said it was far better than the stuff he normally used, and he would be buying it himself for future jobs.
