Replaced one that stopped chirping. I love this clock

The hourly bird calls were terrible & mechanical ! They didn't sound like birds at all ! I did return the clock, & did get a refund. I then ordered one associated with the Audubon Society & it's exactly what I wanted.

My mom really enjoys hearing the different birds on the hour, and, it silences itself automatically during the sleeping hours.

A great clock for the bird and nature lover! Great for a sunroom or porch. We enjoy ours on our patio. Each hour a different bird tweets and it sounds very realistic.

So far, I have not been able to hear the bird sounds. I did, however, put batteries in before following directions. I will keep trying. When the "hour" comes around, it does click but not sing.I was able to remove the batteries and follow instructions once again. It does work. I can hear the bird sounds, and it works on time. This is a quartz clock, and the second hand moves smoothly. All my other clocks, "click" as they move.I verified the bird sounds with the internet, and they were close to being accurate.

It's a nice looking clock, but don't look for any quality in the sounds. Others have mentioned that problem and it's sad. But, I bought the clock because I liked the look and I just hoped for the best.

Returned this clock. It keeps time, but as for the bird sounds, it's For The Birds!The sounds are very mechanical, shrill, and annoying. It is totally unlike the original bird clock, offered at a higher price, and worth it. We could not stand hearing this clock in our house.
