The delivery service DPD was terrible. They did not give me an option to leave the package in a safe place. As a result I had to wait in while delivery was attempted 3 times, so 3 days wasted and the convenience of purchasing through Amazon lost. I want to stress it was not the drivers fault, but the company DPD because this has happened with other purchases where they are used as the curriers.

Great fertiliser. Does the job. Can’t complain. Low burn risk. As with any fertiliser, make sure lawn is well Watered following treatment - do this every few days (particularly in warm weather)

As with all granular feeds it is difficult to work out the correct dosing rate for your spreader, but the results are good. Lush green grass, few weeds and a definite improvement in density. Remember to sweep any excess from hard paving as the iron content will stain paving once it gets wet.

For over forty years now, I've tried all manner of fertilisers/feeds on my lawns - with varying degrees of success. Some have made a noticeable improvement to the appearance of my grass, others haven’t made much of an impact at all. The one that had previously given me reasonable results was a white 'beaded' dissolvable lawn feed from Wilko. However, I had still been trying to find that elusive feed that would actually impress me - and take it from me, I'm hard to please. Anyway, I think I've finally found it! Yes, this A1 Lawn Ultimate Grass Fertiliser has transformed my front, side and rear lawns. I actually applied it three weeks ago, but wanted to leave it a while before making an assessment of the product.In my book, getting the application rate correct is key to getting the best results. I've seen so many impatient people apply too much lawn fertiliser and end up burning their grass, or they sporadically distribute it, so end up with untidy patches of green and yellow. This fertiliser should be distributed at 35g per square metre. What I do is I weigh out 35g on our kitchen scale. That 35g just about covers the bottom of a small plastic flower pot drain saucer I have - so that gives me a good guide. I pour the fertiliser into a bucket, then scoop out 35g with my predetermined plastic 'measuring saucer' and distribute evenly across the soil with my latex-gloved hand - a windless day is a must when doing this! To attain a degree of accuracy, I place some long canes on the lawn that have been temporarily crisis-crossed at one metre intervals to give me one metre squares. It's best if the soil is moist when you do this, if not give it a good watering after applying, and make sure the lawn is adequately watered over the next week or so. I found that it took 5/6 days before I noticed my lawn starting to ‘green up’ - and that process continued for another week or so, before I witnessed the full potential of this A1 lawn fertiliser - and I have to say that I'm very, very impressed!It takes a lot of time and effort to achieve a beautiful lawn, but if you choose the right fertiliser to keep it well and truly nourished then you are on your way. This is the best Spring/Summer grass fertiliser I've ever used, and it's the one I shall continue to use from now on. Not surprisingly, I have no reservations about recommending this super product. 🌻🌷🌾🌹🌳

After trying multiple grass seeds over a couple of years. I have found A1 seed to be the best by far. Great and fast growth and provides great coverage. Growth can be seen in a few days with the right care. I will only use A1 seed going forward.

Very good product, just follow the instructions on the packaging and you cant go wrong.I always scarify (power rake) the lawn first.

The final step to lawn regeneration…Having first treated the lawn with Maxicrop moss killer and lawn tonic, I then waited around 10 days for the moss to turn black. I then scarified the lawn, and it was looking a lot worse for wear. I had read that this was to be expected, and that I should then treat the lawn with a good fertiliser. I had read great reviews of A1 ultimate spring summer lawn fertiliser, so ordered this and spread it over the lawn using a wheeled spreader. Fast forward 10 days and I now have a lovely lush green lawn for the first time in years. Highly recommend this product, but like a lot of things, preparation is key. Follow this method and hopefully it will work as good for you and you’ll have a lovely lush, green lawn 🤞
