Thus far-Impressed!
As I went online to reorder another electrolyte replacement powder that I have been using for a few years now, I came across the KEY NUTRIENTS electrolyte replacement powder. As I compared the ingredients to what I had been using before, I found out that ALL of the electrolyte, vitamins & minerals were in higher amounts AND at a much cheaper price [currently, today, 2/24/21 though, the powder I was using before did drop the price to be more comparable with the KEY NUTRIENTS however the advantage that I see is the amounts of the electrolytes, vitamins & minerals-a big advantage for me] to be still for a 90 serving container. I was also impressed with not only the electrolyte ingredients but also the "other" ingredients that go into the mix as well. It is sweetened with stevia leaf extract and spirulina (for the BLUE RASPBERRY flavor) & beet root & beta-carotene (for the CHERRY-POM) gives it the color and as much of a label reader as I am for everything, I was more than willing to give this KEY NUTRIENTS brand a try.I ordered two containers the flavors being BLUE RASPBERRY & CHERRY POM(egranate). Today, 2/24/21 I decided to mix both flavors for my bicycling ride this morning. The attached picture show the CHERRY-POM flavor (red water bottle) & the BLUE RASPBERRY flavor (tinge of blue color water bottle). Mix 1 scoop (provided) into 16 oz of liquid (the bottles in the picture are 16.9oz size but I filled them only up to the neck of the bottle & I already drank some out of each bottle for a taste test). What do I think about the taste? For the BLUE RASPBERRY: First off, I like the tinge of blue color of the powder and with my first sip I first tasted a tartness followed immediately with a sweetness and I could even recognize the flavor being "berryish" Both the tartness and the sweetness were not overwhelming but nicely balanced. Personally, if a drink were to lean one way or another, I would prefer a tartness over a sickening sweetness but like I said, my taste testing of this one was very balanced-not too tart and not too sweet with the sweetness occurring about a second or two after the initial tartness. If you prefer something with an overly sweet taste then mixing this powder with juice or flavored drink would probably suit you. I found this drink to be refreshing and definitely something that I could drink throughout the day if needed. For the CHERRY-POM flavor: a nice light cherry red color and the first thing I noticed, after the color, was the smoothness of the drink. Not gritty or anything of that nature but the best way I could describe it would be "smooth". The taste sensation is a nice sweetness followed closely with a nice cherry taste! Here again, not overly sweet but just enough so that there wasn't even a tartness on this one -not sure if there should be anyway (perhaps the pomegranate would tend to give a tartness?) But in any case it was just sweet enough for me without an excessive sweetness; and like I said, I definitely recognized the cherry taste, not overwhelming, but noticeable. I'm not sure if I was able to discern the pomegranate component but definitely the cherry. Perhaps somebody else may be able to distinguish the pomegranate more than me.Now, the BLUE RASPBERRY has 6 electrolytes and 11 vitamins & minerals. The CHERRY-POM has 6 electrolytes and 12 vitamins and minerals. The extra vitamin is the Riboflavin that the BLUE RASPBERRY doesn't have, for whatever reason I don't know but shouldn't really make a difference that it doesn't have it.In conclusion, I'm very impressed thus far with the look, how easy it is too mix [note: about 40 minutes after mixing and refrigerating, I wanted to take a look at the mixture. I looked at both water bottles, as what is in the picture, and I noticed very fine, I guess one could say, granules, floating around as I swirled the bottles. It doesn't affect the "smoothness" of the drink and it still doesn't give it a "grainy" taste but I would suspect that something that has upwards of 20 different ingredients that perhaps a vitamin or mineral or one that is chelated? There are two ingredients that are chelated, selenium & chromium. My guess is , that perhaps a chelation might not necessarily go completely in solution or one of the other vitamins or minerals that may not be so absorbable in the mix but will breakdown better once it's in the body? In any case, I am not concerned about it as I've reviewed every ingredient and approve of the ingredients that are in these powders.]Now the test of actually drinking them during my ride. I suspect that they will do what they are supposed to be doing because of the higher amounts than my previous powder brand had. I could think it would only be better. If I notice a significant change as far as energy level and other measurable changes in my workout as compared to my former brand of powder then I will edit this review. But for now, I'm very impressed and happy to have found this brand of electrolyte replacement powder!

Second purchase
First about the 12.5 jar of lemonade. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor.then I bought the little packages it's more convenient for hiking. I'm not crazy about all the flavors though.what I like about it it's cheaper than quite a bit of bougie electrolyte supplement you see the YouTube personality in the hiking Community promoting. and much lower price point. I really like the lemonade flavor in the summertime I drink two servings per day it helps with cramping and muscle fatigue. it's made in the US. it's GMP certified to boot for magazine ready at the highest electrolyte powder. well hell there you have it!I started with the 12.5 oz jar of lemonade, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Then I decided to buy the smaller packages for convenience while hiking. However, I’m not a huge fan of all the flavors available.I appreciate that this product is much cheaper than many high-end electrolyte supplements promoted by YouTube personalities in the hiking community. The lemonade flavor is my favorite, especially in the summertime. I typically drink two servings daily, which helps with cramping and muscle fatigue. It's made in the USA and is GMP certified, ensuring high quality. Overall, this is an excellent electrolyte powder!

Cherry Pom Is Mid
I love the product. It typically taste great, is full of nutrients, electrolytes and minerals & you get a lot of servings in the container for the price. However, this review is for the CherryPom flavor...it's not good. Taste kind of weird, slightly medicinal at times but not really cherry like to me. Just wasn't what I was expecting and not as good as some of their other flavors.

Taste great, for zero sugar! I’m impressed!
Some people don’t like the way this taste, but I say it’s understandable why it’s not the best tasting since it’s zero sugar. Now for zero sugar the flavor is pretty flavorful and sweet. I I recommend. Also, love how it comes in a big bottle, cause I workout alot so I’m always needing to quench my thirst and replenish myself with electrolytes. I don’t have to buy Gatorade all the time now because of this.

Changed formula with no warning
They changed the formula without any warning and sold it under the old label on Amazon while sending out a new label and formula. They also started making health claims on the label. This is a violation of FDA food labeling requirements. They changed the label from being a dietary supplement to being a "drink mix", I guess so that they could have get away with not having the "The FDA has not evaluated this product," thing on there. The new formula doesn't mix well. It's really a shame because I had loved this stuff literally since 2019 and recommended it to lots of people. But the fact that they make health claims on their label shows me how inexperienced the team making this product must be. The new label is also extremely amateurish; what the heck happened to the old label that looked great?Anyway, re: quality, there's no USP/NSF verification of ingredients. You really have no idea what's in the finished product and their sudden and unpredictable switch of ingredients has made me wary of ever trying them again. They're less pricey than other brands but you get what you pay for.
