How far off the ground is the seat? I'll need to transfer from a wheelchair to the bike and am just trying to see if that'd be doable.

It is not far but it has a small arm off the side of the bike from the floor it is twenty one inch. Sorry that is all that I know it is a good bike to exercise with.

Is there a way to lengthen the tension wire so that it will reach the metal bracket it attaches to? Mine is too short to reach.

I am short 5'1". Will I be able to reach the pedals?

I am 5'3" and I reach the pedals just fine. The seat adjusts forward and back to make it comfortable for you according to how close you want it. I am so glad I bought mine. I am happy.

Does this have an iPad holder?

Yes, the holder is attached to the LCD screen.
