This stuff saved my sick chicken. I added this to my chickens water. It didn’t dissolve very well in cold water but if you add warm water to a jar, add a cap full of the marek defense, put the lid on the jar, then shake it some then it will dissolve.

Our hens had experienced several contagious infections over the past year, and we had also been worried about Marek's as well. Here in northeast Ohio we can have some pretty brutal winters too, where the chickens are literally "cooped up" much more than usual. Being kept inside more can lead to faster transmission of sickness among the birds, so we're always looking for easy, effective, safe ways of preventing infection during these months.The pellets are small and easily blend in with feed, and the chickens seem to eat them up with the rest of the grain and scratch. We prefer the feed integration over water for now, because the chickens always seem to find ways to spill or splash the water and then it's difficult to tell how much of the dose was received.Regardless, this seems to be a good product and is well packaged and easy to use. The chickens are consuming it, and time will tell how effective the prevention is. With how vulnerable and weak the chickens can get after being infected, it's always better and cheaper to try to boost immunity instead of treat existing infection!

These chicken supplements are very easy to use -- just dissolve in their drinking water or crush and sprinkle on their food. I dissolve in their drinking water -- very easy. The small bottle also lasts a long time. For my flock of six hens, we'll probably get about six months of use from the bottle. Finally, these are all natural and seem to work well! We've tried other supplements from this Healthy Animals 4Ever with very good results, so we have every reason to believe these will work as well. Inexpensive peace of mind for our ladies. :)

Do not like pill form. Should be drops. I crush pills and put the in their water , does not dissolve.

I have raised a good number of chickens and did not know anything about Marek's Disease In Chickens until I ran across this product. Goes to show how true the old statement is; you don’t know, what you don’t know… and this is something to learn about even if you just have on chicken as the problem is pretty widespread.In any case, you can put in a simple search on YouTube or search engine to get up to speed on this and then use this as the preventative remedy. Now that I know, this will become part of my weekly chores when coming to cleaning the water supply bucket, and refilling it with added supplements and preventatives not only for Marek’s Disease but as an immune booster.

The product states: "NOT a treatment for Mareks Disease" which I can somewhat understand because a vaccine is really the only protection against it. After review, this product has no effect and will do nothing to prevent Mareks Disease according to my avian vet for my chickens. Sadly, this product is meant to deceive you into purchasing it and there is no ability to return it after discovering the truth about it.

My wife raises chickens as pets and for the eggs. Chicken's health can be a real chore at times. She has products that she gives daily to keep them as healthy as possible. Preventable health is one thing, but, the one place that she has not kept up with is health care when they are sick.This product as well as others from this company might be the answer that she is after. This bottle is a small bottle and has 300 very small pills. (Did not count them but the bottle is filled to the very top.)Being as this is health care for sick birds, we are hoping that we never have to turn to them. But... if needed she now can.The label states that this is an American product with American and Global ingredients. Not being a foreign product is why we placed the order. Again, we hope to never find out how good they may be.
