Excellent
The media could not be loaded. This balsamic vinegar is full-bodied and very flavorful. A little drizzle adds tons of flavor.

Perfect
Absolutely fantastic. It is thick and fruity and tangy. This is the balsamic you want for your salads. It's also great for cooking with when you need a little sweet or looking for a reduced balsamic glaze but are lazy or don't have the time. :) Want to add a little zing to your fruit. This. Bump your bbq sauce game up? This.

Good without EVOO
We use this on salad as a dressing by itself. There is no need for anything else. Great stuff.

Best I’ve had
Mostly used on mixed-green salads, but it would be great on fruit. Very thick and very low in acetic acid taste. Just enough for a tang. Mmmmm. Here’s something funny: because I’ve ordered this a few times, Amazon shows me another kind that costs about $170 for a smaller bottle. Nooooo.... not ready for that. This one is wonderful.

The most elegant and decadent balsamic vinegar you can !
For a special cooking presentation in flavor there is nothing like Cattani Olivewood balsamic vinegar. It has a syrupy, sweet and sour affect that is perfect for drizzling over grilled vegetables, grilled polenta or to lightly toss in salads. It is definitely pricey, but the acidity is so well-balanced with the sweetness that you'll wonder why you used anything else. Probably too expensive to use in cooking directly, but as a finishing agent there is nothing better on the market.
