Unbelievably cheap
Ginseng is famous in part because it is one of the most expensive herbs. And I am not sure how the company could produce a ginseng supplement at this low price. I wish there is more information about the ginseng they used to make this supplement. Anyway, the daily dosage is 3 capsules and it is a lot to manage.

Longtime ginseng user - this works as expected
I've used ginseng (primarily in capsule form) on a recurring (not daily) basis since 2005, from dollar-store varieties, to economy retail brands (the stuff you'd find in a USA chain pharmacy), to premium brands you'd only find in a specialty store.I eat very little processed food and take a fantastic multi whenever I feel I have gaps in my diet, and primarily use ginseng like this when I'm in a grind -- which usually means working long hours, double shifts, 6-7-8+ days in a row, or just physical work. I basically use it as one means to avoid bottoming out, and maintaining a certain energy level when without it, fatigue would creep in faster. That's the way I've tested this supplement, and so far, no complaints in the initial handful of test runs. My other ginseng brands, I've used for years, so I want to give this brand some tests under additional conditions (my work challenges have been pretty uniform since I got it, so far) before making a final verdict [will update if I gain any insight, to add].PS - I also find ginseng helps me when the weather puts an extra burden on my body (I sometimes work outdoor sporting events or am outside in the cold for extended periods).

The king of herbs?
I can’t make medical claims in an Amazon review, but this personally made me feel very good while taking it, with much more energy, improved mood, and no crash or negative side effects noted. So I definitely think this works and is good stuff, and it’s from a decently reputable manufacturer too which is great. There is a lot of interesting evidence related to mental health and other benefits. Do your own research to see if it makes sense for you. I do think the suggested dosage may be a bit high, but possibly not. It is in the range used by some studies, but not for mental health. In any case, consult your doctor about any supplements you’re using and like I said, do your own research from trusted sources (like actual scientists).

Good potency, great value
I've taken different types of panax (or Asian) ginseng for years and have always found it to be beneficial. These veggie caps from Carlyle, Tahoe Naturals are a good potency with the benefits I'm used to from ginseng supplements - anti-inflammatory, energy boosting and helping to level out blood sugar. The gel capsule is firmer than those of the well-known brand I've been taking. Since I can't swallow such a large capsule, I open them and dump the powder into water with honey to make a tea. The powder doesn't dissolve, but it is suspended well enough to help me take the supplement. I can tell by the bitter flavor that this really is ginseng. The potency is good, but I really wish brands would stop inflating the potency on the label by showing how many milligrams in 3 capsules. Just list how much per single tablet or capsule! That aside, the high quality and affordability of this supplement means I'll be switching from the other brand I've been taking. Highly recommend this one.

Ginseng ginseng ginseng
I can't afford buying the root. Perhaps this is a decent alternative. Also known as Korean red ginseng, or true ginseng. If this stuff is legit then it is a great value. However, since Carlyle is selling it under a different brand name, it makes me wonder. That being said, you get 40 servings per bottle in the form of 500mg capsules. So 60g for about 10 bucks as of writing this? Getting Korean red ginseng at the local Asian market costs five times as much.
