This looks very nice on but it is not made of silk becuase it says polyester on the attached label

Of course the price is a giveaway but I took the material description at face value. Should have actually read the reviews before purchase as I wasn't the only one caught out by it. If you want a nice scarf, it certainly is but it is not the product that it claims to be. 100% polyester - utter false representation.

This scarf is not made of silk at all despite it literally being sold as a ‘100% Mulberry Silk Scarf’. It is simply made of synthetic material/plastic. It comes from China too, so it takes well over a month to arrive and of course is very low quality/ not what it is advertised as.If you are looking for a genuine silk scarf like I was- this is not it. Do not waste your money on lies and cheap synthetic tat.

I bought this scarf for A nautical themed fancy dress it was absolutely stunning exactly what I needed and a great price as it was on offer at the time

Despite this scarf being soft (advertised as 100% pure Mulberry silk), It is not Mulberry silk. The label attached to the scarf states "Polyester". I would have returned this item if not trashed the packaging.I will return to buying thd real and pricier scarf.I gave it 2 stars for softness.
