Great piece of kit
I was fed up of the caravan smart tv disconnecting and buffering when tethered to my phone so I bought this. I set it up temporarily to test it before I went and drilled the caravan roof. Download speed using my phone was just over 1Mbps. Connected my phone wirelessly to this which was just sat on my car roof and got 22Mbps. Would never have thought that this could make such a difference to the signal, but clearly it does.

It's ok but it's not fast
I've installed this myself fairly easily. The installation went as I expected it to. I got it setup fine although the admin interface is basically undocumented, luckily I'm a software developer so I could work out what I needed to.My issue with this device is this: it's slow and based on my experience offers nothing that your iPhone doesn't already offer apart from the ability to use a different sim card. My iPhone using the same sim card could get around 140mbps over 4G, this device could only get 40mbps. That is a significant difference. I called Avtex and was told that is to be expected because my iPhone (iPhone 11) is a cat 6 device and this is a cat 4 device. I'm not impressed. You would be better off buying a portable 4/5G router which can run on it's own internal battery or be plugged in over this device. It didn't get a better signal than my phone either, so I really don't see the point in it

This is not a 5G router
Very poorly worded listing. Highlights that the antenna included is 5g ‘ready’ - however the router maxes out at 150mbs. This is slow 4g.Poor performance and terrible value for money.
