Does exactly what the big name products do at 50% to 75% less cost. Great prodcut
In the past, maybe 5 years back, I was never a fan of Monstrum products. In the past several years I've tried a few more of their products based of 704's YT reviews. Monstrum has come a very long way. This plate is way less expensive than most of the others out there. It was to used on a range only plinker tool. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the quality of the plate and the awesome fit. It worked out perfectly and saved me 50 to 75% compared to the "big name" dove tail mounting plates. It looks great with a really nice finish and it functions very reliably. Use blue loctite and take your time installing it. You'll be really happy with the end result.

Dovetail milled well
The milling on this is really tight to spec. It didn’t want to tap into place so I froze it and it popped into place with a little encouragement. At least I know it’s tight! We’ll see about durability over the next few hundred rounds.

There are 3 different models, this review is for the RMSc footprint
Comes with no instructions, but not really needed. Brownells has a tutorial how to install a sight without special tools, i.e. sight pushers. Very tight fit to the Glock Gen 2 factory dovetail. Comes with all the needed fasteners for the mount & probably all red dots. You will need to provide your own blue thread locker. The Olight Osight SE fit perfectly.

Don't waste your money!
Garbage. Don't waste your money.1. first red flag - slid the mount onto the dovetail and it was very sloppy / not even close to fitting tight2. snugged the first optic mounting screw and it was fine / snugged the second mounting screw and the mount stripped out / I hadn't even used my torque driver yet.

Good Quality and works very well.
Plate fit my receiver like a glove. I subsequently mounted my red dot sight to the plate with no issues. Quality appeared to be top notch and I had no issues with attaching it into my receiver sight slot and experienced no issues mounting the red dot sight (Bushnell) to the plate. I have no qualms about reordering should I have the need.

Nicely made and fits well
Does work well. Very well made an durable, Holds zero well. And puts together pretty easily with a nice fit and look.However. It does make the red dot sit high. So something to consider. But much cheaper than having a slide cut

Cost effective solution Vs Expensive Machining of non-MOS Glock slides
Just installed this on my G17 and I'm blown away by the fit, finish and ease of installation 20 minlocked up tight and my Holosun HS407C attached with no issues. bore sighted , tested and excellent quality looks great. The best part is I can reverse it if needed. No expensive slide cut or MOS slide needed. Recommend this item to anyone.Disregard 99% of negative issues reported most are installer related not the plate

May need some custom fitting
I was happy with the attention to detail in packaging and the overall appearance of quality.I had to do a slight bit of filing on the dovetail’s anodizing for it to fit nice and tight on my Glock’s slide with just a little light tapping. I did not mind the extra work to get the fitment just right. It makes for a much more secure mount. The problem was after everything was centered perfectly and the set screw was locktighted in place, when I was mounting the RDS to the mount, one of the screws would not start into the mount’s threads because of either too much anodizing or poor machining. So the whole thing had to be uninstalled and the I had to run a tap through the threads. From the amount of shavings, I have to conclude that it was poor machining. Not a deal breaker for me. Sh”t happens and you can’t inspect every single piece that gets manufactured at the price point these mounts are sold for. But, I did want to let anyone that does not have a minimum of mechanical skills to know that they may or may not encounter difficulties and need a hand with installation.Obviously, I can not comment on durability until I run through a couple of qualification sessions with it, and honestly this was only purchased by me to try and see if I wanted to go through the process of milling a slide or two on my pistols and use a RDS permanently.
