UPDATE: omg!! This company has by far the most incredible customer service!! I received an email the morning after my initial review saying that I would be sent a replacement mirror WITHOUT having to go through the return process. I received my new mirror today (very fast shipping) and I couldn't be more impressed. The mirror was very nice the first time but this one is perfection. Wow I'm still kinda in shock because online purchases can be a hassle, especially when it comes to returns or exchanges. If your thinking that your not sure trust me just go for it!! I sat mine on my wooden dresser and it looks amazing. I saw a lot of pictures on mirrored vanities but it really looks amazing on plain old wood furniture too!! Really looks nice. Couldn't be happier. Great company with great customer service!!! Will be making future purchases.Original review:While this mirror is very very pretty mine unfortunately came with some flaws. It is missing the end piece to one of the hinges and this causes the side mirror to fold inward by itself. It also has a few small scratches on the frame (this doesn't bother me to much) but the framing matches up uneven in some corners. While it is very pretty and nice and heavy so it is solid i was very let down with the side mirror being loose. Shipping was fast and packaging was EXCELLENT! I will be keeping it because I totally cut up the box to get the mirror out and it would be an extreme hassle to ship it back. It does look beautiful just wish it did not come with the flaws.

I dislike the fact when putting on the mounting bracket the mirror cracked at the point where the suppot bracket was. This was a surprise gift for my lovely teenage daughter while she was away for the weekend. We wanted her to love her gift. The mirror is very beautiful but now flawed. A gift shouldn't be flawed. After getting this very heavy box upstairs and dismantleing her make up table to accept the mirror and tools together, I was excited for my daughter. Then we find that the screws are too long for mounting the supports. The mirror cracked on the very first screw (lower left). The cracks are at the bottom and perhaps will be covered by her make up trays. We did not put anymore screws in. So it will just sit on the tabletop. Funny thing is, I also ordered a bathroom mirror from the same company. I hope and pray the mirror and install will go flawlessly. There is no room for error on that mirror, it has to be mounted.. The only positive thing is, we now know to watch for screw length. After we paint the guest bath, that bathroom will get it's new mirror and light fixture. I would hope I will be compensated for this issue. I will be calling Hamilton Hills Monday morning. So disappointed!Update... Hamilton Hills is sending me a new mirror! Hoping the installation goes well! Thank you!

We have been doing a refresh of our daughter’s bathroom in stages. This mirror is perfect! It gives sparkle and light to her bathroom which is fun, but it is so functional. She can check out her look from all sides. In this age of social media, the multiple views make for interesting social media posts on her various accounts. She loves it.Installation: The wall-mount install is a little nerve racking, but doable with some patience. Finding the three little holes filled with black paint on the back of the mirror was tricky. We did some internet searching to find the approximate location. To help you, I included a picture with our tape measure so you can find them more easily. I also rubbed the tip of the screw in the tiny holes to make them more visible in the image. If you don’t think it is obvious in the picture, just imagine trying to find them with no idea where to begin looking.The 2 part cleat makes minor adjustments simple for any level DIYer. But the mirror is heavy and obviously fragile, so we used 2 people to install. Another tip would be to handled from the middle mirror so you aren’t stressing the hinges.The bathroom isn’t done yet. The mirrored medicine cabinet on the far right will have to go next. But the Hamilton Hills mirror made a big impact in her little space and we all love it!Finally, as we continue to love the mirror, we are also getting all kinds of parent points for picking something that looks great, but also looks impressive on her social media. Let’s be honest, we have to take those moments whenever we can get them. 😂This is a great gift for a special birthday, Christmas or whatever holiday in your home you want to make memorable.

I received my mirror in perfect condition (I believe the superior packaging would have preserved it even if it had been delivered on horseback). This is truly a gorgeous product, and the quality is clearly evident. I was particularly impressed with the wonderful simplicity, stability and effectiveness of the hanging mechanism, which consists of a straight bracket which attaches to the back of the mirror with small black wood screws, and an identical bracket which is secured to the wall. The bracket on the back of the mirror slips over the one on the wall, so that the substantial weight of the mirror is secured across TWO THIRDS of its width, making it very stable indeed. The true brilliance of this design, however, is that it allows you to slide the mirror to the left or the right, so that the mirror will be centered even if the bracket on the wall was not (HEY! It happens to the best of us). I also want to mention that the service was sublime: I received an email asking if my mirror had arrived safely and offering to take care of any problems before I had even opened the box! Add to that the fact that this beautiful product is made right here in the US, and all in all, I am absolutely delighted with my purchase.
