MikroTik routers are some of the best routers available. They have features only found in high-end commercial routers, like Layer-7 routing for example. The learning curve is a little challenging when you start, but there are plenty of youtube videos, and a great forum.

Seems powerful, too bad UI is complex and hard to use. Probably good if you are using long term for enterprise, but not great for average consumer. Sent it back because I couldnt consistently get to UI.

Could not get it to work.I am not smart enough to config this. Could not find any how to videos or manuals online. If you are not an IT guru or network engineer don't waste your time. My questions went unanswered on the forum for these things. I am sure they are the latest and greatest but not for me! I have configured Engenius products on several networks with out problems BECAUSE they have support and manuals online that are easy to follow. I wasted hours on trying to get this to work.

Used as an uplink to a WiFi system. Setup is a charm with the built in wizard. Would be nice if it had a built in “List” of uplink WiFi credentials if you move around or if there is more than one WiFi ap for the same ssid. Basically you don’t want to tie your self to a particular ap if there is more than one in case that one fails. There is a way by removing the bssid from the config once linked up. But again would be nice to be able save those configs in case one moves around.Beware of upgrading 7.10.1, bricks the device. 7.10 was ok

Product works well, but my mistake is that I didn't read the description well.Be careful, os3 license doesn't allow you to use it as an access point. So I paid extra $45 to upgrade the license up to os4.

Works great! Happy with the functionality, but the instructions are very minimal.
