HCPIC LVL 2 book, this had a rounded cover on the back that tucks into the front of the book. Small & sound for a crowded work space.

This book is beautifully written, the illustrations are perfect, the font is easy on the eye and the verbiage is clear and well written.**HOWEVER** It's like they slapped 2024 on a 2023-version, the 2024 code updates are all but a few mostly missing, 160 of the 2024 updates are missing in the M-code section and I'm still discovering more ~Purchased Feb 2024. **I blame the Editor for this incomplete shabby release and the tarnish it brings to the AMA name!!I called them to complain that it cost $120.00 and it's not up to date, their solution was that I can buy their "Our Changes" book for another $67.00.The **OPTUM HCPCS Level ll 2024** book is fully complete with all the 2024 code updates. How do I know, several classmates had the same issues, some had the AMA and some had Optum which is how we discovered the 2024 codes were missing, I had to pay $80.00 to purchase OPTUM's version to be up to speed as these books must be in the test room for the 4 hr AAPC Certification test.The AMA has failed to provide an accurate 2024 coding book...buy the OPTUM if you want to be sure to pass the AAPC Certification test.
