Aesthetica Cosmetics Contour and Highlighting Powder Foundation Palette/Contouring Makeup Kit; Easy-to-Follow, Step-by-Step Instructions Included

So I'm pretty new to this countouring thing, and to be honest-I had no idea as to what I was doing. I purchased a "contouring" kit from Aesthica and haven't looked back. I had absolutely ZERO experience in contouring, or using makeup to create shadows, accentuate any features.I ABSOLUTELY completely love this! It comes with a guide to assist you in knowing where to put what color, but the best way to know what works best for you is to play with this for awhile. I feel so much more confident, and using the brushes provided, I can not ask for a better deal.I had previously purchased brushes from Sephora, and that were $40 each. (I only got two of the $40 each ones.) Honestly, these are just as great, but are so much better in prices that I can not even compare them. After several months, the $40 each ones started coming apart, at the space between the brush and the base.These are heavy duty, and I am able to use them for contouring, eye makeup, and anything else I desire. They are easy to clean, and amazing altogether. Would buy again in a heartbeat, and I think I'm going to do so, just in case anything happens to them. After all, I do have a 3 year old who loves to play with my makeup and perfume.Hannah

Now, I say this seemed darker than expected - but that may be because of my skin tone.I am a natural red head, so my skin freckles more than it does tan (you can probably imagine just how pale I am). The highlights work, but they are really on the edge as they almost match my tone. The contours on the other hand are VERY dark. After getting the hang of it though, it's pretty nice having everything all-in-one. I don't find the tutorials provided all too helpful (instead, I youtube'd videos on advice of how to contour my face). Being powder, it's really easy to give a soft touch or a harsher line - and I really love the flexibility.In the end, I think this is a great product and I would highly recommend it to those looking to learn contouring and highlighting for powders - but I recommend taking it a step further and finding some more tutorials elsewhere and being open to the idea the 'fits-all' colors may not really fit everyone.

I had recently gotten more interested in makeup and contouring, but wasn't sure I wanted to smear my face with cream products on top of BB cream. I really just wanted a subtle effect from a product and so far that is what I am getting with this contour kit. It definitely takes some time and youtube videos to get the hang of what you are doing (I still need help figuring out my face shape!!). I really like that the powder goes on light and you can build on it until you are happy with the amount; this really helps me achieve a very light look. I am pleased with the contour colors, all three look decent on my face and I still haven't decided which one is my favorite.However, the highlight colors I am not so sure about. The yellow is nice under my eyes (overtop of concealer). The other two highlight colors I am experimenting with and can barely tell if they are on or doing anything. Perhaps that is the point, but my face does not look very brightened with it on.The other thing is the price, I usually don't buy high end makeup. I'm a ELF girl myself. I saw this on lightening deal and had a few bucks to burn, but I don't think I could buy regularly for $29.99 (especially if you only end up using half the colors). Its not like its a huge amount of product and I have seen people achieving results with products from cheaper lines. Now as far as pigmentation goes, I'm sure this is more concentrated and of a higher quality. However, it pretty much is gone by lunchtime. So I would have to bring the palette and brushes and head into the ladies room at work to touch it all up if I continued to use it.Maybe I'll try a cheaper brand and come running back, only time will tell. I will be sure to come back and update how it goes!

Beautiful pallet of colors. This is my third pallet! I love this product! Seller padded the pallet well for shipment—everything arrived beautifully intact—nothing was broken or chipped. I highly recommend this seller, AND the makeup pallet!

I’ve never found a make up that I’ve liked this much. It was very easy to go on it last for a very long time. I didn’t have orange looking skin when I was done, and I was just super pleased with the different shades in the contouring palette and I myself like the powder I am way better at putting the powder on then I am putting the liquid on. I don’t think I’ll switch from this pallet. It’s my absolute favorite.
