The pillow is soft and comfortable. One should be aware that sleeping with a knee pillow does take some getting used to. But, ultimately this pillow does remove pressure on your knees.

This little pillow is a lifesaver. After back surgery and needing a pillow between my thighs, this worked perfect. I have tried a body pillow earlier and it was just too much. I would recommend this product.

Bought the pillow after hip replacement. The goal was to avoid crossing my legs while sleeping. Initially I used regular bed pillows, then smaller chair pillows. Neither worked. So, bought this pillow——worked great immediately. The shaped sides keep the pillow in place, even when when rolling to my side. Small size works much better as well.Why not 5 stars? The cover. The cover is great until you try to wash it. The cover fits tightly. Taking the cover on and off is a struggle. Though the zipper runs end to end, it’s just not long enough to ease the removal of a block of foam. Nor is the fabric particularly stretchy. The pillow case tore early on. I purchased a replacement from another manufacturer—longer zipper and slightly looser fit. FYI, replacement cover almost as expensive as the pillow (and should be—more work to shape, cut and sew)

This pillow has helped relieve my sciatica

I had purchased a different knee pillow to help align my hip at night on doctor's advice, and it was a little too small for me so I purchased the large version of this Luna. The good news is, it's super comfortable, the perfect size for my legs (I'm a little on the heavy side) and this shape is much more functional than the rounder shapes that are available. The disappointing thing about it, and what's keeping it at 3 stars instead of 5, is that it doesn't come with a strap to keep it in place. The very nature of sciatica hip pain causes me to shift occasionally in the night, and when I do, the pillow shifts with me and my legs fall out of place. I don't notice until I then have the sharp kind of pain that comes from misalignment, and that wakes me up, I realize the pillow has moved, and I have to go searching under the covers to find it, get re-adjusted, and then try to get back to sleep.If you're a side sleeper that *never moves*, then this could be your five-star pillow. If there were a strap for separate purchase, I'd be all over it. I'm just sad that I spent $20+ on this pillow assuming it had a strap like all the others, and now I'm going to have to go spend another $20+ on another pillow that might be a smaller size or not have the cooling foam just so it has a strap. :-(Vendor: If you have a strap I can have, this review immediately turns to 5 stars!

I purchased this because of issues with my hip and knee. As a side sleeper, I thought it would help to place a pillow between my knee when I slept to relieve some of the pressure. This worked a lot better than I thought it would. It's a perfect size and firmness and surprisingly, does not get dislodged during the night. There are other brands with a strap on them to go around your leg, but then it's a hassle to remove it in the night if for some reason you want to remove it. This one stays in place without the hassle of a band attached to your leg and is easy to remove if you want to. It's provided me some pain relief and was well worth the purchase price.

I'm a side sleeper and I tend to sweat, so having this pillow has been a game changer. I really like being able to throw the cover in the wash, although it can be a bit tricky to fit it back over the oddly shaped pillow. It also does often end up on the floor by the morning, but that's more to do with me than the product.
