100 Durable Black Plastic Growing Trays (with Drain Holes) 20" x 10" x 2" - Planting Seedlings, Flowers, Wheatgrass, Microgreens

These are slightly heavier than the type you can pick up in your local big box store. Having said that, they're still prone to twisting when fully loaded with soil or plug trays -- they're not reinforced, nor are they extremely heavy-duty. Still worth it!

I purchased the growing trays with and without holes. I put one of each together. Then, after filling with my homemade worm compost, I add my seeds which have been sprouted in a mason jar. After that, I place another of the trays without holes on top and secure it with a couple of bricks until there is some serious sprouting taking place (usually after a few days, depending on the ambient temperature).Then I remove the tray on top to allow light from the sun to green up the sprouts. These trays are strong and work very well.

They have worked as expected. Semi durable and strong as long as you use both hands. If you tried to pick it up with one hand it was full of even a little weight it would likely break. I have bought many packages of these and only one has cracked in handling it. But, I washed a few early on and left them on a slightly uneven surface to dry in the sun on semi cool day, but the sun was out. All of them got warmed. I tried using a hairdryer to warm them up to get them to go back flat, but they do not lay flat anymore. But, I have washed them and dried them laying on the sides or at angles inside and they do not warp. It is only when they are in the sun, that they will warp.

I'm using these for spinach and arugula.

They are not as sturdy as they could be however, I need to use a second tray for stability.

I ordered 20 with holes. I was shocked to see the seller burned holes into the plastic to make drain holes. Not professional at all. They were week and crack very easy. I didn't like them at all. I will never buy from this seller again. Because I had ran out I had to use them. Now I'm stuck with them.

These work well of you don't have to move them. They bend very easily if there's any weight in them so be aware of that.

Despite some of the bad reviews saying they were warped and melted.. I decided to order them anyway! Glad I did! They were delivered in a few days and arrived in perfect condition! I am using these for an indoor fodder system to grown food for my chickens. I would recommend these to everyone!! Well worth it!
