This arrived just in time for me to start my workweek with a new coffee to try!Typically, when you get a medium roast and you're accustomed to a dark roast, you don't expect to have as distinct or flavorful of a roast as this one. But this holds its own before and after any extra additions. I'm not typically a black coffee fan either, but this has enough flavor to drink it by itself without being too bitter. If you're a fan of medium or even darker roasts, you should definitely give this a try.Another neat feature is that the name of the roaster is written on the bag along with the date, making this feel like a local small batch operation. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and quality, especially for how great of a value this coffee is!

Very flavorful and robust if you like your coffee black.

Ever since I worked at a coffee shop over 20 years ago Tanzanian Peaberry has been one of my favorite single origins, and these beans did not disappoint! It’s a medium roast, lighter than we normally drink in our household, but has lovely fruity notes that make it delightful to drink so we love it even though it’s outside of our usual selections. The flavors are so delicate that I fear a darker roast would overpower them, so medium is just right! It pairs nicely with pastries for breakfast. Would buy again!

This coffee had great flavor alone, but also paired well with my favorite creamer. I liked being able to grind the beans myself for optimal freshness. It smelled amazing opening the package, so I knew the flavor would be great, as well. Great quality for a great price!

I dont expect medium roast to be oily like a dark roast, but these beans looked dry and shriveled, as if they are old instead of fresh roasted. Flavor was also woody and mild, nothing like other coffee I have had of the same origin.

So I got this coffee to try. The package says medium roast but to me, this is a very light roast. The beans were probably the lightest brown I'd ever seen on whole beans. The taste was weak (to me). I will give the coffee credit in that it had the roast date (less than two weeks prior to the date I got the coffee). I weighed the bag when I got it and it also had more oz than the package said. For that I gave it three stars.

Doesn’t taste like yirgacheffe at all. Maybe it’s the toast, but it was too blond for my liking. It's a pity I didn’t buy a smaller batch because I can’t use or return it.
