I was skeptical of this product but went forward and bought it... I'm so glad I did!! I have very long, fine and soft baby hair and I usually use XL scrunchies to try and get some volume in my ponytails (which I wear 80/90% of the time!! I'm constantly looking for anything to get my pony popping and this worked great first try and it basically undetectable which is unheard of for me!! I have alot of hair but so SO fine and soft!! I was hoping by the time I got to 55 yrs old (last July) that I would eventually get "big girl" hair but... Not so much 🤣... Don't debate on getting this just do it.. it works VERY well!! Just make sure when you grab your hair to make you ponytail around it that you keep your hair tie on the actual popper!!! It stayed in my hair (which is always an issue)!and it feels very secure!! It will be my new "go to" and I'm going to get a few more!!! Hope this helps!!!

I was so excited to try this product as the advertisement states works on ALL hair types. We'll it didn't work on mine. I have very thin, soft, silky hair. The clip showed through my hair no matter what location on my head I put it, which would be embarrassing to go out in public like that. I watched YouTube videos from the lady who invented it and I couldnt complete the desired look. Maybe you need to be a professional hair stylist to use it on hair types like mine. I believe this product would work for people with thicker hair, but why would they need it as they would already have a full pony tail. Returning and disappointed.

it definitely made my ponytail thicker, but it was hard to keep it in sturdy, and I definitely wouldn’t wear during any physical activity or workouts. I would say it definitely isn’t worth the money. If it were a bit cheaper, the review might be better.

I saw this on Tiktok and thought welp let's give it a try.. wasn't too expensive if it didn't work right? I was slightly doubtful. I'm glad I purchased it! I'm going to purchase 2 more for back ups or for my girls. I have fine hair, as in naturally blonde and mid 40s so thin and fine. No scalp showing but still thin. My usual ponytail is about an inch in circumference on a good day with teasing. I put a tiny ponytail at the top of the back of my crown, clamped it in and gathered the rest of my hair around it easily. It looks so convincing! Like I have major thick hair! No more teasing! The bonus is the majority of my hair doesn't feel like I'm being scalped from my usual tight ponytails. This is a YES all day long! Buy it!

I loved this product so much. It made my ponytail look like alot of volume. But after 2 months, it broke at the hinge part of it. Such a bummer. I'd be happy to give it a second chance but I don't want to have to pay for it.

I LOVE this product. It truly does make my hair look thicker and my ponytail much cuter. I have pretty thin and long hair that covers the whole thing and no one can tell I have it in. Make sure to do a small hidden pony in the back so that it has something to clamp onto. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the plastic clasp broke after a few uses :( I really believe this is a great idea, just wish it didn’t break. I’m trying to use glue to try and save it.

This product implies it makes your fine hair ponytail puffy and thick. This is another crappy product that does not do what its intent is. First of all, the clip won't stay tight or clipped. The device is so heavy it just pulls the tiny ponytail it attaches to out. The clip is so large that once the hair goes up into the pony clip you see the clip and again it's so heavy in fine hair it does not stay up or in. The last ponytail holder goes around this clip and it just pops off. There is nothing to hold it together. Probably bought or fake reviews on this product. Save your money and time!! I would NOT recommend this.

This has ended up working wonderfully for me. In case anyone is wondering if it will work for them, I have moderately thin hair, which is long, very fine, and sleek/slippery. The pony popper works well, but if a person had thinner hair than me, I see how there could be problems with the hair covering the pony popper, as a certain amount of hair is necessary. At first I made the mini ponytail the video recommends, and put the pony popper teeth under/around it. Soon I realized however I don't need the first mini ponytail, which is great as that part was a pain. I just part the back of my hair a little, insert the teeth around a bit of hair, and close the pony popper, then pull all my hair around it, and add a hairtie. I do have some really good hair ties which are strong and elastic but soft and not too thin, so on top/around of the pony popper they hold all day without any problems. Then I shift the hair around so most of the strands are gathered from the top to make sure the pony popper space is covered. I was too self-conscious to wear my hair in a pony tail before this (it seemed so thin and pathetic), and now my pony tail seems a decent width, but not so thick it is ridiculously fake. The hair that cascades down isn't any thicker of course, but I think it is good enough. I hope this is helpful to anyone considering whether it will work for them!
