Yes if it takes rechargeable AAA batteries they will work perfectly.

why are they so expensive?

No idea I think because they are rechargeable.

What is the difference between 550mAh and 75mAh?

The mAh figure is the amount of charge that the battery can hold. The larger the figure the more charge the battery will hold. It is however recommended to replace like for like where possible as some phones will not be capable of charging a higher capacity battery.

Do you actually receive the orange ones pictured?

The batteries with the Orange jacket have been discontinued by Panasonic and have been replaced by batteries with the same specification and these have a Green and White jacket. If you placed an order you would receive the new batteries with the Green and White jacket.
