CarharttMen's Firm Duck Apron

Apron is well made. No problem with being too stiff. I don't do the tie-up-behind-the-back thing well, so I did some knife work and had plastic snaps installed; pretty easy. Many pockets on this, and usable. Actually, too many for me to remember where I put things if I filled them all.

I am wearing this in my woodshed while doing woodcarving projects. I like it for that kind of work as it's medium weight, covers me well, and seems fairly durable. I got it to be my main woodworking apron, but I don't think it's heavy enough to use when I'm using power tools and hoping to protect myself as much as possible against kickback, etc. It's a very fine medium weight, well made apron in general and I like that it fits close and doesn't have extra fabric everywhere to catch on or in stuff. I will likely buy another one in the future when I wear this one out. I do like Carhartt products very much and have had excellent luck with their durability.

My son uses this for everything. It’s been great so far at keeping his clothes clean, it’s durable, functional and a great value.

I have worn Carhartt’s for more than 50 years. Yes, I was wearing them before they were fashionable. I’m a machinist, and I really don’t care about how I look. My old apron, which was a Carhartt, finally gave it up and came apart. Too much cutting fluid, cigarette burns, and welding sparks. It was 26 years old.I wear an apron to keep me and my clothes out of the machines. The machines can be grabby and would love to tear you apart. This apron, like all other Carhartt clothes I’ve owned, is well made, and tough. It will protect me and keep me from catching on fire when welding and grinding too. It has tons of pockets for rules, calipers, markers, pencils, notes, a can of Copenhagen, etc. That’s one thing my old apron lacked; it only had a kangaroo pouch. To machine shop professionals, and welders – I highly recommend!And, yes, as another reviewer had stated, buy this apron for your hubby so he can do some hard-core grilling while drinking his White Claw, it is a very good apron.

This is a great apron! Got it for my husband as a gift and he loved it. The only problem I have with it is that he is a bigger guy and having the straps the way they are supposed to be done it a little cumbersome. The fabric of the apron is thick and amazing.
