Works great, but expect a little noise under load.
With my recent rebuild, I decided to explore air cooling again. I found this cooler rated very well on GN and I have to say that I'm really pleased with it. It's cooling an Intel 13600K at stock speeds (recent power limits applied), and it's more than adequate. It's very quiet when not under full load but of course you can expect to hear the fans when they spin at full speed. The Black version goes well with a blackout color theme and overall it seems really well made, though I do intend to replace the fans with something a little better...not because the included fans are bad but because I would prefer fans with higher static pressure. This is a good cooler, and even better if you can find it on sale!

Works great; Very large, so measure first!
This cooler is working great on my i5-14600K. I'm not overclocking, but highs of 86'C during stress testing before undervolting, and in a relatively cool room. This is a large cooler. I naively never even looked at the measurements but just assumed it'd fit fine in my Silencio S400. I was lucky. It BARELY fit and it wouldn't have had my memory cards not been standard height.I decided on this cooler because it is one of the top rated fan coolers for the price and the cooler itself should last a lifetime (assuming adapters will be available for newer sockets), even if the fans eventually need replacing. Once installed, I verified my temps were very good on my new CPU and then I went ahead and undervolted to reduce temps further, and also got a decent bump in performance. This cooler was surprisingly loud until I improved on the fan curve. I saw a good comment online recently about how it is normal for CPU temps to fluctuate significantly, so there is no need to go chasing every rise in temp with fans. Recommendation was to be more modest with fans until the temp really starts to rise. This made a lot of sense to me and my system is now a lot quieter and still plenty cool.Fan Control is a sweet and reputable Windows application for running fans; Definitely beats having to make adjustments thru BIOS, plus it is far more configurable and has some really intelligent features.

Great cooler, easy enough installation
Got this to cool my new 5800X3D. Normal usage, my cpu stays in the low to mid 30’s. Max in gaming was 73°C and an average of 61°C. Installation for the am4 was kinda “meh.” I had to have someone hold the backplate so I could attach the brackets on the front, after that it was a breeze. Would definitely recommend, can’t beat the price to performance.

Good Air cooler
It can cool a 10900k pulling 240 watts pretty reliably. and the noise isnt bad at full speed.

Gorgeous, dead silent, and cost effective
The media could not be loaded. Cooling a Ryzen 9 7900. My 360 AIO pump started to make a noise like air might be trapped in the pump. My temps weren't out of control, however, they were noticeably higher than normal. I haven't air-cooled any of my builds in about 3yrs and I wanted to return to the simplicity of air cooling while keeping the cooling performance of an AIO. I chose the a720 Black from ID-Cooling. I am more than pleased. Extremely quiet under load and dead silent at idle. My temps are the same as when I was using a 360 AIO. Solid build quality and not to mention she looks absolutely beautiful and sleek all while costing close to $100 less than the Noctua D15. It's a win, win with a massive victory at the end. I am more than happy with my choice of CPU cooler. If you're on the fence about this cooler get up off of it and make the purchase.

Works good
there was a an improvement when I upgraded from PA120 to the PS120se. Upgrading from the PS120se to the A720 not so much maybe 1-2c difference but because every test is lil different if falls in the margin of error. So its not much of an upgrade, even tho A720 is taller and wider than PS120se and using the same fan configuration, same amount of heat pipes and thermal paste (MX-2) temperature are basically the same. The next step is to try a different thermal paste or thermal sheet.

Could be a little better
The fans are slightly bigger than the radiator, which if installed, it would block the RAM. It would be a good idea to decrease the size of fan just a little bit so that it rests nicely on top of the RAM.
