Simply excellent
I have been into hifi for many years. These speakers are the most notable purchase I have ever made. Their sound belies their small size, being clear, natural, powerful and musical. They are well made and attractive in appearance and surprising heavy for their small size. The app works well, but it is best to be methodical in set up. They have many possible connections to suit most systems. These are expensive speakers, but when you factor in that they include high quality amplification and a sublime sound, they are worth every penny.

Fantastic sound.
It's a while since I've had hi-fi speakers (other than the excellent Naim Muso II ). In my opinion the Kefs are superb sounding speakers especially considering their compact size. We use them either side of a T.V. and for that alone they are worth the money. For music they are absolutely fantastic both in their control and the soundstage they reproduce. I listen to a wide range of music and they haven't disappointed yet. Definitely one of my better decisions.

Very very complicated!
Recently purchased KEF LSX II LT bookshelf speakers to use with my desktop computer. I assume the speakers have a great sound, the process of setting them up is terribly complicated. The app did not appear to work as intended and KEF customer support was not at all helpful. Now going to pack them back up and return them to Amazon.

"Active" speakers
These are active speakers and only last around 5 years because they use an internal amp. If you want speakers that will last forever buy passive speakers. These are a nightmare to use unless you will only turn them on here and there and then turn them off again. You have to manage them with an app or remote control and the app warns you to not keep them turned on as it will impact their lifespan. Make sure to do some reading into active speakers before buying them irrelevant of how they sound since they are extremely inconvenient if you are used to just having speakers that play when music comes out. I also would not recommend them with a computer since you will want them to just work once you start your PC on. Sometimes I want to turn on something to watch while I sleep but obviously I cannot do this since it will decrease their life span and they are hot in the morning.

Mighty sound from tiny speakers
I've really fallen for these speakers, I've always used a headphone setup when working from my desk and assumed it would both cost a small fortune and involve huge speakers and another amp to get something with comparable quality to my trusty cans and headphone amp.I was wrong, these little guys are brilliant, the only drawback I can see is that there's no analogue input which I'm happy to live without (but if you have a decent record player or something older, this might be a big issue for you!)They're small enough (and so simply wired up) that I regularly take them downstairs to use with my TV (HDMI input!) which works perfectly and they sound so much better than the comparably priced sound bar that's there. So, I don't have headphone grooves in my hair anymore and I'm a happy bunny, bravo KEF!
