Electric Coffee Bean Roaster Machine, Smokeless Drum Roasting, for Home&Commercial Automatic Baking

This roaster is supposed to be smokeless but I have noticed plenty of smoke. Instruction manual says to replace the filter if you notice smoke. Good luck finding a filter. Looked on the manufacturers website, nothing. Emailed customer service, nothing.Now the preheat button won’t work.I would not buy this roaster again.

Been looking for a good, simple, easy roaster for a long time. Been using a Gene Cafe and been pretty happy with it. But I tend to burn beans every now and them. Tried another fancy roaster that was disappointing. Finally found this one, and it works great. The automatic option is great for me. Push in a code (type of coffee, area grown, and how it was treated) preheat, push roast, wait about 15 minutes, dump and continue. Gotta give fair warning on a couple of things. First, the directions talk about a buzzer when preheated and when cooling. Ain't heard any, but the little remote unit tells you what the temperature is supposed to be and what it actually is, so when the two meet, time to add the beans. The second and most important is to make sure you pull the finished bean receiving tray out before you open the door to dump the roasted beans. I left the tray pushed in, opened the door, beans dumped on the floor. So, watch that. This machine is not completely smokeless, let's face it I wasn't expecting no odor from a roaster. The purifier works great, no smoke filled room, smoke alarms aren't going off, not limited visibility, actually pretty smoke free, very happy with it. They do add in a bendable aluminum tube to use for a chimney if you desire (I don't). If you are someone that is more actively involved in the roasting process, there are options on the pad so you can do your experimenting thing. I like simple and easy and this works great for me. Also get to roast more at one time than the Gene Cafe, which cuts down the amount of time I have to spend on roasting. The chaff collector is simple to empty, pull out the tray and dump it. No knocking chaff out, getting it all over the place and having a chaff cloud. So, I would recommend this machine to anyone that likes fresh roasted coffee, no matter your experience level.

First, when I do manuel it still wants to shut off and change settings. When i push and hold R it will not turn off heat. There is a lot of plastic that can catch on fire inside the machine, doing dark roast is not recommended. Over all, not bad. One more thing, it is difficult to roast 7 batches even when the roaster has cooled.

This worked great for 7 months and then today I was roasting and the roast chamber caught fire. We’ll see if the machine ends up being okay

La máquina funciona maravillosamente pero por muy corto tiempo.Es potente e incluso podría tostar 500 gramos que promete, en menos de 5 minutos, pero por ser evidentemente tan frágil, nunca la cargué con más de 250g, ni tampoco le puse una potencia de la resistencia eléctrica a más del 50%, pero a pesar de eso falló al rededor de 45 días de poco uso.Inicialmente estaba fascinado con sus 20 niveles de aire opcionales, al igual que sus 20 niveles de potencia de energía, pero ahora estoy sumamente decepcionado porque tuve que devolver el producto por mala calidad, y por el hecho de haberme pasado de los días para devolución, posiblemente me retengan parte del dinero que pagué por ella.Sería una lástima que me retuvieran parte de mi pago de dinero inicial, incluso después de haber recibido un correo aceptando la devolución por artículo defectuoso y la afirmación de que me devolverán el dinero completo.Ya regresé el producto y solo me queda esperar.Para terminar quiero poner en contexto el daño sucedido, y es que mientras estaba tostando un poco de café, la máquina comenzó a generar olor a quemado, y el tambor casi que paró de girar, por lo cual descargué mi café a la bandeja de enfriamiento, dejé enfriar la máquina antes de apagarla como es habitación, y días después me pasó exactamente lo mismo. Por esto decidí realizar la solicitud de apoyo a Amazon, y ahora solo me queda esperar a que no pierda dinero por este artículo que promete mucho, pero que al final de cuentas no vale la pena si solo va a durar pocos días siendo tan costoso.
