Very well made, but need to practice
I purchased these, because the other set I have create much smaller hems. These presser feet are very good quality – better than the other two smaller sizes I have. And, a huge bonus, they work great on my Viking Emerald 116 shank rather than having to change out to a shank that accepts bottom snap in presser feet. I do have a bottom snap in adapter shank, and I verified that these presser feet work for those types of shanks as well, which is a bonus. Some people are commenting that there are no instructions: there are a couple of snapshots in the description of this item that you can print off. Also, Madamsew has a video you can watch for their similar items. Regardless, these types of presser feet are quite tricky to get the hang of, regardless of which company manufactures them. But once you figure it out, you will love them. Give yourself ample time to practice on spare material until you feel comfortable. It might take multiple tries, and even coming back to it on a different day can help. I also use these for simple flat hems to avoid ironing first. Works great. Also, I have used them off the sewing machine to create pinned flat hems on thick outdoor material that cannot be ironed.truly a life-saver. Update: my needle adjusts only to the left. These presser feet do not adjust much to the right, and I was running off the edge if not eagle-eyeing the fabric. My wonderful husband was able to use his Dremel to grind off a bit of the edge, so I can adjust the feet more. Now, I can get the needle farther from the left edge. If you have a machine that will adjust the needle to the right, you will be fine. That being said, I suspect any similar presser feet have the same issue.

Even My Fat Fingers Could Make It Work
NOTE: NO INSTRUCTIONS come with the presser feet. There are, however, instructions that appear in the site's product description photos. If I hadn't chanced upon them, I would have been stumped as to how to use the foot. That being said, I was pleased that the foot works as described ... and it is much easier than a standard 'rolled hem' foot.In my picture, there are 5 yards of ruffled 100% robust cotton on the bottom of the mu`umu`u. The seams were to thick to pass through the foot. I had to stop, unwind the foot from the fabric, move the foot to the other side of the seam, re-thread the fabric onto the foot, then continue to sew the hem. I went back and machine stitched the 3/4" I skipped using my regular presser foot. I suspect it would work well on a more sheer fabric.Overall, I am pleased with the product, as it is much faster than marking and pinning a hem. I would recommend this to all who sew garments.

Disappointed in this item.
Received on time as promised and appears to be sturdy and well made. I was able to attach this rolled hem presser foot to my Viking Platinum 730 sewing machine without any problem. I think there would be a learning curve with assistance from Youtube since there were no instructions included. I will be returning it however, because the needle on my machine was striking the foot. Totally useless.

Worked excellant for what I used it for.
I liked the hemmer because it made my sewing project easier. I am new to sewing and I wanted to make some pot holders. I did a little adjustments on the hemmer and that made it work easier and sew a straight line on the binding strip on the outer edge of the pot holder.I was frustrated that I could not sew a straight line on the outer binding. Once I made some adjustments Icould not sew a straight line. After Imade my adjustments I was able to sew a straight line and keep the binding pushed up tight against the pot holder material. I will now need to get one that has not been altered so I will have it when I need it. I am still learning to sew.

Excellent product, made as well as can be expected.
These things are as good as any other feet, maybe better. But I'm a new seamstress and I'm just learning. So there's a real learning curve for these things. Quality, shipping time, company, all terrific. I just suck at the moment.
