Great pet carrier
This is ideal for my elderly dog

Would I buy again? Yes. Is it perfect? No.
Quality of material - quite rough and feels cheap. Particularly the clips. The hard bottom is great, and it's a good size.Fit - it doesn't stay on your shoulders if worn at the front, and the buckles are very cheap flimsy plastic, meaning they slide and move. I really like the wide square neck, so many of the round all material ones wouldn't be great for my dog's trachea.Overall - she likes it, she's happy in it, it's not quite the best quality, but it serves a purpose and I'm glad I bought it! A blanket is definitely needed for padding though!

Toggle location & super human clips
I wanted a cheep and cheerful pet carrier with a firm base but this is not the bag. The bag has a firm base which is good and mesh sides for aeration, also good. However, there is no padding between the base and the human carrier so the animal bounces a lot during a walk. The main toggle is on the front of the bag, exactly in chewing front view of the animal (great for puppies but not for the bag), had it not been immediately i would have returned the bag! The carrying straps would have been better designed to cross over at the back to make the carrier more secure as they slip off the shoulders in the straight position which is not helpful. Whilst they can be crossed to make the bag more secure to carry, the padded straps then choke the bearer on either side of the neck. The worst thing is the clips for securing the animal. One clip is in the middle at the back of the animal and a higher clip for taller animals is on one of the shoulder straps. Firstly, it is not possible to secure the animal on either side to reduce the amount of wriggling and moving about, secondly the clips require superhuman finger strength to clip the animal in at all. It would have been better if 1/2 or 2/3 of the upper part of the bag was firm/structured. The shoulder straps also compress the bag as well as the chewable toggle at the top, leaving a strange shaped compressed space for the animal. My pup collapsed the whole front down to just sit on the base. None of it ideal.

Definitely not for 8-9KG dogs
My dog is 8.9 KG, the description states this is for dogs up to 9KG, but it really isn't.My dog just about fits in it, but feels like she'd topple out, as it doesn't come up high enough to keep her secure. The material feels cheap, I couldn't see it lasting, even with smaller dogs. The front doesn't have any support to it either, it's just material, would be better if it was more solid. The shoulder straps just keep slipping off the shoulders, as there is no clip to keep the shoulder straps on.This bag would be great if it were slightly taller, better quality material, a clip on the shoulder straps to keep them up, and a sturdier front.

Very uncomfortable
Used this carrier to give my tiny terrier (5.5kg) a break on long hill walks. Had tried sling-style carriers before but she really seemed uncomfortable being so squashed. So I tried this carrier to see if the more rigid structure would give her a little more space. While the dog is sort of ok in there, it’s very uncomfortable for the wearer. The shoulder straps are flimsy and only very thinly padded, and the cross brace strap doesn’t sit right to reliably keep the shoulder straps from sliding off your shoulders. Also, because there are no straps to adjust the tension on the actual carrier compartment, the centre of gravity is too far forward and the front panel is very far down, which means you constantly have to hold on to the front to help your pet not feel they’re going to fall out any minute. Wouldn’t recommend.

Perfect for the first few weeks of puppy ownership
Bought this so that I could introduce my new puppy to park walks before he'd had his final vaccination and was allowed down to walk. Absolutely perfect. Although the shoulder straps were initially a little fiddly they allowed me to carry my puppy for over an hour without causing any back pain....after a few uses the straps became easier to put in and adjust.

Exceeded expectations
I spent a lot of time researching the best carrier to get for my Yorkshire terrier. He’s still a puppy so I wanted something that would transition into adulthood as he often gets tired and needs carrying. This product is excellent. It looks great and is perfect for what I wanted. The base is sturdy and he sits happily in it just watching the world. It’s not big enough, or designed for the dog to lay down in it, but it’s got plenty of room for him to sit comfortably. The quality is great and it feels secure when wearing it. I read that a few people felt the straps were slipping down a bit, and for me it is fine, but it’s very easy to cross the straps at the back if you want to feel more secure.
