I exclusively use clean/cruelty free products on my hair these days, so I was interested in trying out this conditioner from their Clean Beauty line. If this product is any indication, I have absolutely been sleeping on Paul Mitchell’s clean beauty offerings!As others have noted, this conditioner doesn’t seem to have as much slip as some, but after using a liberal amount I was able to finger comb it through my wet hair pretty easily. It has a nice pomegranate scent that lingers on the hair after it’s dried as well. Prior to rinsing it out, I was struck by how much the conditioner seemed to have been absorbed by my wet hair - it didn’t seem to be sitting on the surface of my hair like many other conditioners do. It rinsed out pretty quickly and I was able to comb through my hair using my normal leave in conditioner.After letting my hair air dry, I was amazed at how well this conditioner seems to have helped with the frizz, while managing to moisturize my hair without weighing it down/over-conditioning it or messing with my normal wave pattern. My hair is soft but still has decent hold. I feel like this is a pretty concentrated conditioner (which may be why it’s not as slippery as some other products) so I may experiment with using less next time, but overall I was very impressed and will be adding this to my normal conditioner rotation!

This paul mitchell clean beauty color protect conditioner makes my hair feel soft after using. I use mostly on just the ends of my hair after shampooing and very little on my roots to help detangle. This conditioner has a nice smell and is a little thicker consistency. Rinses nicely but does leave a little film on my hair but hasn't affected my volume when blow drying. My hair easily combs through and feels nice and soft after using. I only use hair masks to color my hair so this does seem to help with making the color last longer in between shampooing
