Mendini by Cecillo Bb Clarinet w/Case - Best Beginners Clarinet for Students, Adults and Kids w/Stand, Pocketbook, Mouthpiece and 10 Reeds - Wind & Woodwind Musical Instruments - White

This was a gift for my daughter who started playing in her school band recently. The clarinet that I rented from the school was old and falling apart... literally. The keys kept falling out and I had to keep screwing them back in, and one key was locking underneath the one in front of it and even the band teacher couldn't fix the problem. It also had a terrible amount of air leakage.This Mendini B Flat clarinet was affordable and seemed suitable for a beginner. For the price, well under a hundred, I figured I wouldn't have a problem if she decided to not continue after this year. There is minimal air leakage, much better than the school's clarinet. The keys are secure and it plays much louder with much better sound than the school's clarinet.I purchased the white clarinet. To give you an idea of the color, it is much more of an antique white which means it has a very yellow cast to the color. It is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but when I ordered it I really thought it would be a striking white color rather than a linen white or antique white color.I am still giving this five stars because for the price you really can't expect anything better than what you are getting. If my daughter continues to play over the next few years I will then be willing to spend a couple of thousand dollars for a better clarinet, but for the beginner that she is, this is a wonderful clarinet for her to get started with.

I am thrilled that after 5 years I could get back into one of my favorite hobbies. Amazing price and quality! Beautiful too. I would even go as far as to say it’s sexy. Love the sound it gives off.

The clarinet checks every box I was looking for. It's fairly inexpensive, easy to clean, new (because you can get used for less), and the entire set makes it really easy to get going. The reed placement and embouchure took about 2 months to adjust to play the high notes while working at my own pace, but they are now easier to play than the day it was delivered. It just took time. I also like the white look of this clarinet. Why not something different? It certainly has been a delight and I keep it right next to my work desk for those lulls in the day where a bit of clarinet will lighten my day.And that it does, satisfyingly.

i m a clarinet player and i have been playing for 2 years now and so far this is the best eligible and affordable item with it's medium quality sound and keys. The things i m disappointed is that this have poor quality reed and mouth piece. I would not recommend this reed. This reed will get you the minimum quality sound out of this instrument. Please make sure to purchase a premium reed that is an official company not these reeds

My clarinet from high school grew legs, thats another story, so after 30years i wanted to see how i felt about playing again so i bought this white one. It sounds fine and works good as of only playing it a few times so far. The cork fittings are very snug so greese well. Would recomend for first timer or someone trying to play again. May buy more expense one 2yrs from now but til then, i like this one!

Was not impressed. My daughter could hardly get a sound out, wasnt sealed properly all you could here is air and mouthpiece and reeds were terrible. Music teacher said to send it back.

It’s cute but not what I expected it was too light I feel like it was cheaply made. The sound wasn’t as strong either

I was faced with either repairing my clarinet that I'd been hanging onto since childhood or buying a new one. I couldn't find anywhere near me that would repair my clarinet. I would have to send it in and the price of repairs and shipping made me choose a new one. I found this one. This is a beautiful sounding clarinet and the over all value makes it that much sweeter!
