We replaced this part on our camper. It was easy to install and much better quality than the one we took out which was the original equipment. The brass fitting will last a long time.

Was super easy to remove old one and install this. Fit great and does not leak at all.

Better than the factory installed since it's all brass and not plastic.

You’ll need double sided contact sealant tape or silicone to keep the rainwater from leaking into the hole where this mounts to the camper exterior. This product doesn’t include this.The check valve might whine when water flows through it, unlike the OE units that these replaced which were wide open.Material is nice, heavy duty, and definitely heavier than the OE part. A simple 90 degree brass adapter goes a long way to relieving the stress on the hookups and might have lengthened the life of my original parts significantly.

Works perfectly

I got this to replace the almost 25 year-old original fixture on our camper that was badly weather-beaten and had recently begun leaking. This unit is well-constructed and much easier to hook up a hose to than our old one was. It's more durable, and I really appreciate the built-in cover that snaps in tightly to keep dust and debris out. The check valve prevents water from back-flowing out of this inlet.

The water inlets on our camper are a bit degraded. I got this to replace the fresh water inlet with. I like that it has a brass fitting, so I am less concerned that it will cause an issue like some plastic fittings can. Seems well built, I have not installed it but holding it to the original, looks like the screw holes align up. So it should be quite easy.In replacing these, I also intend to color code them by using white for fresh water, blue for antifreeze inlet, and black for black tank wash. The colors should help with identifying which is which long after the label has faded away.Also, this does have an internal check valve. That can be very important to a camper. If you use your internal water pump, it can send water out this port if there is nothing to keep that from happening.Seems well made, and I like it enough to recommend it to anyone in need of such.
