Game Night
This is great for a party game at a bridal or baby shower. Or family game night.

Pretentious and not very funny
I bought this game to play with my visiting grandkids, hoping it would be both educational and fun for all of us. It was not. First, those totally crazy, convoluted names they use on a lot of cards (apparently considering them hilarious) were impossible for the kids to read or understand (and for myself nearly as much) and created confusion about the questions; secondly, the humor they try to inject in nearly every question is not very funny and creates confusion about many answers. No one has ever accused me of being humorless; I am afraid the creators of the game are challenged with their sense of humor. Finally, we are quite traditional and found way, way too much political correctness on these cards. This game will not be played again.

I wish they had printed a 1957 version
I collect etiquette books and I enjoy trivia so I was excited when I came across this on my Amazon feed. So excited, in fact, that I bought it in February (even with its original May release date.) With all that said, I'm disappointed. This collection of trivia has a rather liberal view of etiquette and manners (and not in the classic sense.) For example: According to the guidelines set forth in these cards, complimenting someone on an unusual, but beautiful name, is not appropriate because "it can make someone feel different, out of place, or othered."I wonder what Emily Post would think of a society where on one hand we are ghastly to one another on social media and on the other are so hyper sensitive that we can no longer pay someone a genuine compliment without causing offense? No, thank you.
