Was a gift and they enjoyed it

I liked how it popped out, was a bit challenging to hold altogether with the gears and part stack up. I was able to do this with my 4 year old as a together project. Lot of fun even putting the pieces back into the cutout as a pseudo puzzle

This is a cute and tiny craft project, and very easy to do. The wood is unsealed, so I stained it and put on clear coats. This took a lot longer than putting the project together.One thing that I noticed when putting it together, was the gears would not move. It turns out the circles inside of the two torso pieces have to be removed, then put back in. This allows things to move.With the way the gears work, when the dog's head is pushed down, the "arms" go down, the legs go up, and the tail goes down. I personally wouldn't move the gears too much with everything being made of thin wood. But it's cute even just as something to look at.

Its much smaller and thinner than I expected, but I should have expected that in a low cost craft. It’s a nice craft for a kid to focus on STEM building, particularly if they like dogs.
