Did a good job
For a small project like I had this tool worked great. I can't say how long the blade will last because I didn't use it much, under 20' of banding. Do a test to get the feel of it and it is a good buy.

Great at trimming small amounts of material
First off, you need to determine the direction of grain and not work against it or you will tear not cut your material. This style of trimmer works best with when removing small amounts of material. For larger amounts I found the rotary style trimmers to work much better. Like most trimmers, keep some alcohol handy to remove the glue that always builds up from use. The outside corner of the cutter needs to be softened with a file or similar or it will leave a mark on your wood. Used in conjunction with other trimmers this works well. It has a place in my shop, but I do not rely on it as the only means for trimming. I use it more for touch up than gross trimming.

Not the greatest
Works great when cutting with the grain. Across the grain I had to use a box cutter because this wouldn't cut cleanly and kept chipping the edges.

Great tool
I’m really liking using this simple tool. It works much better than trying to do this by hand with a utility knife. You still need to pay attention to the grain direction. You can get a hint if you’re going to have a problem if the cut starts to turn into a tear that wants to get ahead of the cutter. Best thing to do if that starts to happen is to stop and approach from the opposite direction. The cutters seem sharp and durable. And while I haven’t tried the plastic dual sided cutters, I think I’d prefer the control this tool provides.

Poor quality, poor tolerance, works poorly.
It's just 3D printed. There are no threads for the screws, so construction of the actual device is poor. Additionally, the results are poor, likely because the precision of the device is too poor. On mine, the grooves are misaligned with the wood by maybe a full 1/16th of an inch, so it cuts poorly.I ended up free handing it with the blade removed from the tool.Maybe I'll make my own block and just use the blade.

Worth it
Made the job easier. Cut the vinyl edging very smoothly and really left nothing to sand. Real wood edging wasn't as smooth but still better than fussing with razor blade.
