Dee Zee DZ95D Steel Wheel Well Tool Box w/ Drawers

Its fits in a 2010 ford f150 6.5 bed says it wont. I got it installed just one of the slides was not intact when I pulled out a drawer to get bracket bolted on. Fell apart while pulling drawer out ball bearings went everywhere. This product is good just that flaw and they should supply with extra slides for drawers in case that happens. Guess that's what you get for ordering from Amazon.

This is a fairly heavy-duty box and the removable nature makes it simple to install. The latch won't stay closed and the door flops open if you don't have it locked. The drawers are smooth and open and close easily now that they are loaded. *edit* I've had it in use for over a month now and the lock just flat out sucks. The weight of the drawers pushes against the door and the lock bends over and the thing opens. Only the tailgate prevents my tools from scattering. ***Ok... last update. This thing is JUNK! cheap metal holding the pins bent and the whole thing separated from the base. Fell over and bent the box. The drawers separated and pulled the slides out one side and it is now trash. DO NOT BUY

Works well in the back of the truck, stays secure and keeps everything organized and tidy! Easy to install.

These things are well built and have saved me a ton of headache keeping things organized in my truck. drawers slide easily and reliably and seem really robust. They one complaint is the price. may not be worth it for some people.

This box is very well made. The 5 drawers roll very smooth and do not feel cheap at all. The lock locks the box good but could be a better made lock. Being that the door sits flush with the front, the lock is sufficient enough to keep most people out because there is no way to really pry the door open. The box is removable and separates with its base which is how it mounts to the bed of the truck. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the way it mounts to the bed from the bottom could be stronger. It needs to mount to the side to make it even stronger. There are 6 bolts on the bottom and even with them all on I think if someone really wanted it they could just keep moving it side to side and it would eventually come off. If it was connected to the side too it would eliminate that. I have a 07 Chevy 2500 and the bed of the truck is rounded so it makes it impossible to put the box directly against the side of the bed so it is sitting about 2 1/2 inches away from the side.Edit: After I have owned this for a week, we have had it rain here and to my surprise I went out the next day and there was rust coming out of all the seams. I have not scratched the paint or anything like that. So now I have had to clean this off and I have now had to caulk all the seams so water cant get between the overlapped seams. This is MADE TO BE OUTSIDE. You would think they would have at the least used a galvanized steel so this doesn't happen. Was very happy about my purchase at first but am getting very disappointed in this tool box. I had rated this at first at 4 but the steel is not that thick so 1 year at the most and this thing would be so rusted that I couldn't use it due to the looks. If you buy it as soon as you get it out of the box make sure you caulk ALL of the seams.

I bolted it to the truck bed behind the wheel well to keep small tools I use often. It lives under the topper, so the swing down door is redundant. Drawers slide easily and hold a full drawer. I use it every day; but still, it seems a little expensive for what it is.

I had a good opinion of Dee Zee products until these arrived. They are made of very thin metal and one of the doors was bent right out of the box...but the metal is thin so it was easy enough to bend back. Install went ok and the drawers were decent sized so I thought all would be OK. Not the case at all...rust started oozing from the seams after the first few weather events and one day one of the doors fell right off. You'll see in the picture where we had to rivet them back on. A few days ago I hit a bump and one of the boxes fell right out of the frame and you'll see in the pictures where the weld (or absolute lack of weld) failed. Don't buy these boxes if you intend on installing them in a pick-up, you will be sadly disappointed.
