He pulled at the carpet by the door overnight which looked terrible. Luckily we could pull the shredded bits of carpet out so looks like new again and we now leave that door open 😁Wary of this we bought this product to protect our bedroom door. Being new to the house he is on the prowl early hours and we can sometimes hear him at the door scratching on the plastic which has fully protected it and stays in place.I just laid the product flat for an hour with the top of a coffee table weighing it down. Then easily cut it to size around the door with a pair of scissor’sYes it may be expensive for a piece of plastic but considerably cheaper than the cost of replacing the carpet

Easy to cut, nice and thick, doesn't slip on the carpets. It is fairly pricey for what it is, but it does what it needs to do, and is cheaper than new carpet.

Works well, but the amount they charge for just such a small piece , I was shocked when I opened it, very small amount .

Purchased this item for my son's house and his naughty cat. So far she's not managed to get to the carpet and doubtful she will.

I got this to go under the door in the living room after my cats managed to rive the carpet from the metal strip under the door. Cutting it was quite hard but probably would have been easier with a Stanley knife. The cats can't get at the carpet now, I still had to use a spray to stop them scratching the PVC runner.

Very effective, good price value, sturdy, and incredibly easy to fit to door frame. Our cats can’t get under it to scratch up the carpet anymore and it isn’t super noticeable either. Be sure to follow instructions and flatten out sheet before cutting down.

It stays in place and is very thick, definitely will not break! But it was still easy to cut to size. It comes rolled up, so I laid it down flat for a couple hours with heavy stuff on it and now it stays flat by itself. Great value for the money!
