This works extremely well and helps keep our Mevo from overheating during hot baseball games. We only wish there was a link to fans/mics that fit on the bottom of the case. Great product!

I'm not sure if this does anything, but it looks cool and makes me think it's keeping my camera cool. I have nothing to base this on as this is my first Mevo camera and the first time I've ever used anything like this, but I did just attend a weekend baseball tournament with temps in the high 80s and my camera never overheated. Was that the result of this "clam cover"? I don't know. But it gives me peace of mind and something else to do while I'm waiting for the game to start.

Bought it for my Mevo that I use for baseball games in Southern California. I still have over heating issues if I live stream, but stand alone recordings I have zero issues with the Clam Cover. But this is in games where its well over 100 degrees and no shade. Havent used it in rain, but I imagine its water resistant.I ended up drilling a hole in the front so I can see the green/red light. No sound issues with it on. It fits snug around the mevo.I'm buying a 2nd Mevo and I will be buying a 2nd Clam Cover.

I purchased this to keep my camera from overheating but ended up with the benefit of protecting from the rain as well. Last weekend we were on turf and did not get canceled. Raining sideways and my camera still worked great. Easy to use and great value!

Snug fit. Works as described

This little clamshell checks all the boxes. It's been rained on, in 100+ degree direct sunlight, and the camera was completely protected. There's enough space behind the camera to get a 6-inch soft USB-C cable plugged into the back of the camera and ran down to a battery pack. Fit like a glove and since the top lifts up easily, I can turn the camera on and off with no fuss.

I was at a softball tournament over the weekend where a popup storm dropped flooding rains in the area. I didn't get a chance to get the camera off the fence and the clam cover kept the mevo dry during an incredible storm. A++ product , would highly recommend for anyone !
