My old floor vent registers have no louvers in them (someone before me took them out). Replacing registers is not cheap. These are wonderful! Work great, magnets hold real well. On hot nights, I cover the vents in the front rooms and force the air to the bedroom. On cold nights, I cover the bedroom vent and force the air to the other rooms. Keeps me from being too hot at night in bed. Super easy to pop on and off, good value for money,

They work well in our camper. Just make sure your covers are actually magnetic. We had to screw them down.

These worked beautifully to cover a grill area below my fireplace where cold air was entering from the outside. It is not interfering with the circulation necessary for safety. They were easy to apply and fit the area perfectly and can be removed easily if that ever becomes necessary. The black color matches the finish and the patches are invisible. I am so pleased to have found a solution to a constant winter draft.

It wouldn’t stay on my vents when the air was on. I understand there is some pressure on it but that’s the whole point. I wanted the air to go elsewhere.

I had hoped this would stop air. It will stop some air but isn't strong enough hold to stop the air. It does keep items from falling into the vent if that's what you want it for. I also placed this on a vent on the celling and it stays up on its own. Hasn't fallen down. It's sticky enough. My hope was a stronger hold that stops more air from going through.
