Fitz and Floyd Gracie Ceramic Peacock Teapot, 1 Quart

Very pretty

I found this initially on the FF website, but found it on Amazon for a lot less, plus free shipping.This is a beautiful teapot, and it looks just as pretty in person as it does in the picture. I love the way the feathers cascade from the lid down onto the teapot itself, and I also like the fact that it's dishwasher and microwave safe.This teapot isn't just going to be for display, and I plan to use it quite a lot. I highly recommend it.

Is a Christmas gift but I know the recipient will love it

This teapot is stunning and makes a great centerpiece for tea time. It pours well without dripping and holds just the right amount for a small gathering.

Why yes I do! I love this tea pot! I love the 3D peacock on the top so much! I love its debossed tail with hearts that runs down the side of the pot. I love the bas relief/embossed flowers. It’s visually all kinds of wonderful!It says it’s dishwasher safe and microwave safe, but I hand washed mine. It doesn’t fit under my bottled water dispenser because the hole is small, centered and the pot is big. I have to tilt it. There is no strainer in it (so you’ll have to use the kind of strainer in the picture if you want to brew loose leaf. You set it on your cup and pour the tea through the strainer. It’s called a “tea strainer with drip bowl.” I learned of these recently so I thought I’d pass along my new knowledge). It dribbles, but the dribbles didn’t make it to the counter even though I poured four cups of tea. It pours rather strangely…like it won’t come out and so you keep changing the angle and then it comes out really fast (I guess because the pot is bulbous and the spout is short and at a strange angle?). It wasn’t heavy, even when full, which was surprising because almost everything is heavy for me!I love it and I hope to get matching cups soon :)

Fitz and Floyd’s hand painted “Gracie Ceramic Peacock Teapot, 1 Quart,” is absolutely gorgeous in colorful nature design with a beautifully painted peacock and flowers/plants on all sides. I love how each sides has different designs as it is even more beautiful and unique to look at. There is a lot to see on each sides of the pot. I also like how this comes in just the perfect size for serving tea or coffee, although, this looks and feels more like a decorative item to me as opposed to it being a tea/coffee pot, which I’ll probably end up using for decorative purposes. This pot has a delicate or fragile feel to it, so I’d be really careful at handling it. Price-wise, this is very reasonable for something that is gorgeously hand painted.Overall, this is such a lovely looking pot, which would also make for a great decorative item. I recommend this to others.

My wife and I have collected unique decorative teapots for years and have well over 20 of them placed above the cabinets in our kitchen, no two alike. This has to be one of the nicest ones that I have come across in many years and totally different than any others I have seen or that we currently have. It is very nice ceramic, fits together nicely, and the paint job is impeccable and beautiful. I was actually somewhat surprised to see that this is considered microwave and dishwasher safe and intended for actual use, which many decorative teapots are not. That being said, our use for it will be strictly decorative and it is going to make a great addition to our collection. It is one of the nicest pieces I have seen in a long time and, especially compared to others we have bought over the years, the price is quite reasonable.
