Love the scent of both, creamy lather of the body wash & the cream is hydrating without being greasy. I do have some very dry patches so may try the body oil too. I’ve received many complements on the scent. Closest description is it smells like summer.

Probably when it comes to the body care product category, Sol De Janeiro is THE MOST successful company ever with THE MOST FAMOUSE Bum Bum Cream, and I honestly thought it was just a seasonal hiatus. Then, this brand stayed on the market a lot longer than that I expected, so finally I gave it a try and I think it has solid reason for its popularity.Ingredients:It has a few ingredients that I really don't like - silicones - phenyl trimethicone and dodecane and multiple - literally lots of fragrance. It contains some humectants like HA, coconut oil and squalene. It uses relatively strong preservatives - sodium phytate, benzyl bezoate and phenoxyethanol. Ironicaly, it's actually a good thing since this is a jar type body lotion and of course, we don't care about double dipping our fingers for our body product, so I'd rather have a little irritation than infection I believe.Texture:The texture is divine. That's the reason why I gave solid 5 star on the product with many ingredients I don't like. It's like a light cream and blend into the skin very nicely and leave the skin hydrated very well. It leaves slight white caste due to the titanium dioxide. To be honest, I really don't know why they add this to the body cream but still, it has very nice texture - perfect combination between hydrating and oily. It absorbs very quick and leaves skin velvetly matte outisde but hydrated inside.Effectiveness:I am not sure where this firming effect comes from - generally it's caffeine - so assumably from guarana extract. Subtly but surely, it makes cellulite and sagging skin less obvious. I used it for a month already and it works like a magic.Scent:It has very sweet, rich and comforting scent and I know lots of people love it. I am more floral-herbal (bouquet note) fan, so it's really not my cup of tea, but still I love the firming that this jar bring to my tummy, so cannot give it up.Shower Gel:It's a conventional shower gel. If you like the scent of the bum bum cream, then it can be a good side product that you can use with. It doesn't contain something special for firming, so if you are on budget, then you can pass this, I'd rather buy another bum bum.

Leaves your skin super soft, but a little expensive

I heard about this brand on social media and was excited to try it. I received a body wash (13fl oz) and a cream (8.1 fl oz). Both products arrived securely packaged and were without cracks, leaks or damage. The yellow packaging/look is fun and I love that these products are made in the US.The cream and the body wash smell like a tropical heavenly dessert. The color is off-white (like a mashed banana). The body wash is probably the creamiest and most moisturizing body wash I've tried. It is thick and hydrating - it does not make the skin feel dry or tight - and I also love shaving with it. The cream tub is large and feels luxurious. The cream is thick and very hydrating - like a rich yogurt. I immediately see a difference in how my skin/legs look. I know the cream is also supposed to help firm up the bum bum area - and the area does look better/firmer after application. However, since I've only started using it recently, I cannot comment on long-term firming effects. Overall, I'm completely obsessed with this duo. The products feel luxurious, smell unbelievable and perform incredible. Every time I use them, I feel as if I am pampering myself. Highly recommended!!
