TimexMen's Expedition Acadia 40mm Watch - Gunmetal Strap Green Dial Black Case

My previous watch I had for perhaps 10 years. I dreaded evrrytime we switched between daylight & standard time. I'd have to go to the internet to see how to do it. This watch is back to basics, easy to read, has a second hand, keeps perfect time. That simple!

The watch is great. The second hand is noisy and the product picture shown is inaccurate. The hour and second hand styling is different than shown. Not a deal breaker, however, an accurate picture would be preferred since watches are visual pieces of jewelry.

I loved this watch as soon as I unboxed it. Good packaging & instructions. The Timex Expedition Acadia is a good size for my 7.24" wrist. The band is made of soft silicone or rubber and feels great when wearing the watch. The case is made of a durable resin and I believe the face is mineral glass. Great visibility in the dark using Timex's Indiglo backlighting. This is my 3rd Timex Expedition watch and I'm sure I'll be adding more to the collection soon. Go buy this one you won't regret it!

You can set the date by pulling out the stem just slightly. Pull the stem out all the way to set the time. Very hard to feel the first notch for setting the day but it’s there.

I’ve owned many Timex watches and typically have loved them. Then lens in this watch is acrylic and it scratches and scuffs very easily. I’ve owned it just a few weeks and it is scuffed beyond repair now. This watch was a waste of money and I wish I wouldn’t have purchased it. I did not know this would happen with acrylic. Everything else about the watch was fine.
