My husband and I travel a lot and this backpack has saved me from not only carrying my laptop but his as well. Now he carries his own!! Well made and roomy for his laptop a hoodie and all of his extras! Highly recommend!

Despite the picture, there is no actual sleeve. The separate laptop compartment is not actually entirely separate. It’s created by a divider that has Velcro at the bottom and gaps. It might work to secure a large laptop but anything smaller than 16-17 is going to flop around without going into a bag of its own.The bag also winds up being front heavy with all the organization pockets if you don’t counterweight it with a heavy laptop and books etc in the slots closer to the straps. But I do like all the organization pockets, it leaves the main compartment largely empty to add things as you find them or keep large objects in.Not much in the way of straps to attach anything.Side pockets are good, fits a small water bottle. Better than the mesh water bottle pocket which tends to break quickly.Sunglasses pocket is very small, only big enough for sunglasses.Construction seems good. Zippers are strong. I like that there is no Velcro.Overall good, not quite perfect. Better for larger laptops.

My son uses this for work. It's the best choice for the money.
