Great Set!
My 5 and a half year old loves these GUPs.We are huge octonaut and lego fans. These arent lego brand? But the quality is still good. The directions are fairly straight forward. I intend to buy some more GUPs for Christmas.

Don't expect to play with it much
The kid was really looking forward to getting this for Christmas except that once you put it together it falls apart so dang easily. It was impossible to play with without parts falling off. It's a show for preschoolers, but I guess if you have a slightly older kid and just wants a model to sit on a shelf it's fine, otherwise pass

My Son Loves This Set
My 5-in-a-half year old son loves this set. I was skeptical because I am skeptical of all off-brand LEGO sets. Luckily this company did it right! Of course, it helps that the set is licensed for Octonauts (one of my boys’ favorite TV shows).My son was able to complete the build with limited help. I just needed to assemble the minifigures. The instructions were easy to understand and well thought out. The build was separated into four well paced bags.The pieces feel pretty good and connect as well as LEGO. However, the minifigures feel more inexpensive. The sets play well.I do have two minor criticisms. First, the box has no English. It is obviously imported which may turn-off some purchasers. Second, the legs on the yellow vehicle have a little trouble holding up the vehicle’s weight.Overall, my son loves this set and wants the entire Octonaut’s collection!

Great Octonauts set!
This is a really great set! The blocks are high quality. They aren't official brand name, but just as good. The box label isn't in English, but since the target audience of Octonauts includes a lot of prereaders this shouldn't be a deal breaker. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and the builds are easy enough and fun and sturdy to play with after. Big hit with my 6 year old who was able to assemble it with some help and has enjoyed playing with it and modifying it.
