I’m a library gal through and through, but half way through listening to this book- I knew I wanted my own hand held copy to reference. Have looked at it multiple times- and with 4 kids 8-13- I’m sure I’ll be wearing it out in no time. Filled with practical advice and lots of role playing scenarios that show how to truly implement the suggestions.

Great guidance for parents that have tweens & teens. We may know most of these topics but the tips on HOW to start these conversations and when to wrap things up, are great reminders.

This is a great resource for parents of middle-schoolers; well written with easy-to-find chapter recaps when you want to revisit the information. Practical advice and examples given of how to have tough conversations.

I wish the sections were organized a little more scannable, like with bullets, but topics are good
